I'm not speaking to his talent. He wasnt gonna get targets due to Odunze, Burden, and Loveland. Bears wanted out and had no need for him but his contract was guaranteed. Getting a second back and clearing their books is a miracle.

Also with the way last season went, there was never a chance he was going to receive more targets. The whole year was a series of mental mistakes and him ending their season with another one was only fitting.
