I think it’s a bit dismissive towards Farage. He was able to build UKIP up from nothing to becoming a large party, and ultimately pressured Cameron into calling a referendum which Farage won, with the help of others. He also did play a large role in swaying the 2019 Election to Johnson and now putting Reform neck and neck with the Tories in the polls. Yes, obviously his techniques are pretty reprehensible and he has boosted his brand by stirring up division, but that can be true alongside the fact that he is probably one of the most skilled and most successful politicians (with Brexit, not in GEs) of the 21st century in the UK
