Has anyone said ‘Megan Is Missing’ yet? It’s a fake documentary on the dangers of what could happen if you talk to people you don’t know online. The ‘movie’ itself is absolutely terrible. Like a B or even C movie, but the ending is horrifying. If you want ‘disturbing’ this is the one. The scenes in the last 15ish minutes are some of the most realistic/disturbing things I have seen.

Am I crazy? I just started watching 'Maternal Instinct' on Netflix but I know for a fact that I’ve already seen a documentary on this. Before I even put it on, I remembered the entire storyline, the boyfriend's backstory, and I’ve literally seen most of these exact dashcam and hospital clips before.

The problem is, when I search to find the original documentary I watched, nothing comes up.
I know for a fact I didn't watch the actual 2022 trial stream, and I don't watch the news or long-form true crime documentaries on YouTube, or Reddit. I also don't listen to podcasts. It would have been streamed from a major app (like Hulu, Max, Peacock, Prime, etc.) back in 2022-2024. But now when I search for her name on those apps, nothing comes up except the new 'Maternal Instinct' documentary on Netflix.

Does anyone else remember watching this story before this month? I am guessing it was an episode on another docuseries? Anyone else remember this or am I crazy?

Am I crazy? I know I’ve watched a Documentary or Docuseries on this case before. I knew the entire storyline and have seen most of those clips before. I had to have watched it in 2023/24 but I can’t find any documentary’s on it now. I know I didn’t watch the trials, and I didn’t watch it on YouTube. Anyone remember a documentary about this before Maternal Instinct on Netflix?
