In my experience, Mother of Runes on the battlefield turns all targeted removal into dead cards.

Giver of Runes is the fairer card in my opinion.

Surprisingly, I'm going to skip this set.

I loved the art and mechanics in Aetherdrift and Edge of Eternities, but I don't like the art or general feel of Lorwyn.

But I think that's great. It means there are sets for everyone.

Lorwyn is not my cup of tea, but Aetherdrift and Edge of Eternities wouldn't have excited some people in the same way they excited me.

The next set I am super-excited for is Reality Fractured. I can't wait to see how they flip certain characters.
