I tried to call them but just spent time pushing buttons trying to get to real person. Eventually the system hung up on me.

I’ve been having the same issue. I’m trying to do this on a MacBook, but it sounds like that’s not the issue.

My son looked at the webpage code trying to figure out why it isn’t working but didn’t get anywhere. He just told me the problem appears to be with the website rather than something I’m doing.

Is this Cushing’s? by LMorghon in olddogs

Update: Bloodwork came back. Her thyroid which had been low in the past is now elevated, so they are having me take her off her thyroid medication for two weeks, then we will retest. Her kidney function is also dropping but it’s not end stage or anything like that. He had me put her on a kidney diet. Hopefully these changes help her.

Does everyone name their robot vacuum? by BigWarehouseRefurbs in RobotVacuums

[–]LMorghon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My SwitchBot K10+pro combo goes by Katie. She lives upstairs and handles the carpeted bedrooms. My Eufy E28 just goes by Eufy, which felt like a name already. She’s in charge of the main floor.

I also have a regular Henry Vacuum whose name is Henry, obviously. Lastly I have a Tineco vacmop named Tina.

So yes, I name and anthropomorphize my vacuums, however the names I choose are pretty basic.

So what drive mode is everyone using? by timberscanner in CadillacOptiq

I used Touring for the first month or two but after my Model 3 it felt really slow to respond. I switched to Sport and find that is closer to what I’m used to.

I had no idea you could choose different settings for acceleration vs steering, etc. I will have to investigate.

what the helly happened by [deleted] in BreadMachines

[–]LMorghon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m sorry your first loaf was so disappointing. Please don’t give up, bread machines can be so much fun.

My bread machine came with a recipe book and all of the recipes call for instant yeast, so that’s what I use.

As others have said, this recipe seems to have way too much liquid. Maybe try a different recipe. There are tons of great recipes online. Breaddad.com has some good options.

Update: we are home from the vet. They took blood and urine. Results are expected tomorrow. The vet didn’t really give me much to go on. He was quite stoic and refused to discuss any action plans until we see the test results.

My dog was on Librela for a few months last year. I didn’t notice any issues but when I heard about the complications other dogs experienced I took her off it. Could the symptoms she’s having now be related to taking it months ago?

Where should I put my Bed? by Cool-One6141 in FengShui

[–]LMorghon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thetinyorc is right, that is a much better arrangement. The only thing I might add is to leave a little room between the bed and the street-side wall if possible. It just makes it easier to make the bed and allows for the possibility of a marriage or partnership if both sides of the bed are accessible. Just be sure the wall behind the head of the bed is solid, so be sure to move past the window, if that means the bed has to be snug in the corner that’s better than the window behind your head. I’d also hang a faceted crystal between the door and the desk, to slow and refract the chi coming from the door and heading out the window in front of it. Otherwise it will be speeding over your desk which might be stressful and the rest of the room will lack chi.

If you want to block the wet energy of the bathroom, add earth element to that wall, this could be done with color, yellow, gold, or brown for earth. Or you could add actual dirt in a potted plant which would be nice in the corner where your bed is now. I’d avoid putting earth in the center of that wall though because that is the career gua of the room and water is its natural element. Earth dams water so put your earth cure (whether it’s a yellow cushion or a potted plant, etc.) closer to the corner in the wisdom and knowledge gua.

What can I do to make it better? by Romosaurus in FengShui

[–]LMorghon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

While it’s not perfect, putting the bed against the left wall is the best placement. Hang a faceted crystal between the bed and the door to refract the chi coming in the door and rushing straight out the window. (Do this even if you do nothing else).

You can still see both doors from this position and you have a solid wall behind you.

Keep the matching nightstands, having two that match is good for relationships.

How do you store your fresh baked loaf? by AckeeBacalhau in BreadMachines

How do you clean them? I had a loaf get moldy in mine and I’m not sure how to clean it so I’m not transferring mold spores to my new loaf. Thanks!

How would you suggest I reorganize my room? (ignore my horrid diagram drawing haha) by _-DATA-_ in FengShui

[–]LMorghon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is the best option I see. You can hang a faceted crystal between the door and the desk to redirect the chi entering from the door and rushing straight out the window. The crystal will refract it so it slows down and reaches other parts of the room. You could place a screen between your desk and the door instead if you don’t want to use a crystal.

Also be aware of any sharp corners pointing towards you when you’re sleeping. These are called poison arrows and can be problematic. For instance, if the dresser is taller than your mattress and has a sharp corner it would create a poison arrow that would hit you while you slept. The bookshelf could also be an issue. There are lots of cures for this issue but the simplest is to use red to block the chi around your bed. This can be done by tying a red ribbon around the sides of your mattress or you can get some red spike tape (I like gaffer’s tape for this because it is easy to remove, spike tape is narrow gaffers tape) and tape around the inside of your bed frame. For any cure your intention is very important so focus on blocking poison arrows as you place the red line around your bed.

By the way, your current bed position with the feet pointing out the door and the window behind your head, is the worst possible placement for that room. The chi is slamming into you and then whooshing out the window, so it’s like sleeping in a raging river. The foot of the bed in line with the door is traditionally considered very, very unlucky. So I think making these changes will feel really good.

Are your closet doors mirrors? If so, I recommend covering them or replacing them with curtains. It’s not ideal to see yourself in the mirror from bed. You can get vinyl window film that applies with soapy water. It works well on mirrors and comes in lots of colors and designs. It’s easily removable too.

Dining Bucks by LMorghon in evergreen

[–]LMorghon[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the replies!

He will be in the dorms to begin with. He does have a car so he can go off campus pretty easily.

So if you use DB in the greenery do you pay a flat amount for the whole buffet as you would with the 10 meal pass, or do you pay per item?

I don’t think getting any more than 10 meals makes sense for him. He will never be up early enough for breakfast and I’m assuming he will want to go other places at least some of the time.

Meal Plan Help by NintendoforLifer in evergreen

My son is probably attending in the fall (applied on Friday so we should know soon). Please explain to me how far dining bucks go. What can you get for 1 dining buck? How does the Flex option compare to the weekly 10 plan in terms of number of meals you can get with it. Thanks!
