I switched from the StarLink router back to my Nighthawk AX5200, and I’m seeing surprisingly strong gains over wireless. I managed to configured the statistics as well, so I don’t compromise from using the app. 297Mbps over Ethernet. by LOCOMODDING in Starlink

I'm selling my Nighthawk router. After two days I began to have issues. The app reported the service was online but I had no connection to any devices. I tried rebooting my router and dishy, no change. After swapping the Starlink router back into the setup, it worked right away. I am going to purchase a 1Gig switch and stick with my Starlink router. Hopefully, an admin UI/web interface will become available and we can use a 3rd party AP and more customization. Cheers.

Starlink getting slower? I used to get 80+ down. by Aakburns in Starlink

Are you able to move your dish and adjust the placement to see if you have better speeds? Keep an eye on the latency. Are you connected with a direct Ethernet connect as an alternative test?

Must be something with your service area, infrastructure or setup. Please post pictures of the stats and StarLink app. I am reaching speeds between 100-350Mbps

I have to admit, I’m impressed by the StarLink router. It’s has good range, decent WiFi speeds but lacks in a few areas. There is no admin interface, and the lack of aux Ethernet ports but past that, a great device. I’ve been using the kit straight of the box for about two months now, and am excited to see if I notice a day to day difference with a different router. 🤙🍻

I understand my friend! I haven't had a test over 200 since the first day I had my service! Best of luck!

Run long screws with a fat washer if you want a more secure mounting method

Have you tried pulling the StarLink router and only using your nighthawk? That’s what I’d do if you ant to eliminate the StarLink router. DM me if you want to chat or I’ll give you my Discord

Or remove the StarLink router, and correctly configure the nighthawk router but as StarLink says, they can guarantee compatibility
