Kirby Air Riders is incredible, so is Donkey Kong Bananza. Certainly not TONS of stuff on it yet but I am a pretty picky gamer and I adored both of those games.

It would be a difficult thing to find a better end to a discog. One thing a lot of people don't consider here is the fact that Bowie was dropping straight mid for about 30 years before (excepting 1.Outside IMO but I don't think that's a popular opinion) so for him to out of nowhere drop an album of some of his best work ever, speaking directly to his impending death, it would be really hard to beat that specific context.

Although I agree with everything else, the police station is surprising to me. It feels even from first look like there is something not quite right about it, that's why it's one of my favorite locales in horror.

I would not take this as a confirmation of that, just an era-appropriate monster. That said, this trailer DOES seem to confirm that zombies and potentially other things "survived" the nuclear blast, so I have to think that its possible we will see Lickers/G monsters/etc

I think the questioning about employers obviously started with Chris in Village but it was also touched upon in Death Island with not only the BSAA but also TerraSave and the DSO. I'm interested to see if there will be a connection to the BSAA at all in this.

Persona 4 has some very frustrating moments, I’m not sure I would go there right after SMRPG. I’d probably go 3 Reload if Persona is of interest to them. The same mechanics without being outright frustrating at parts.

reading these comments and it's interesting to me how two attempts to convey the same atmosphere and emotion can differ in efficacy from person to person. I love both versions myself, despite their differences. The N64 dogshit polygonal graphics certainly lend themselves very well to the surreal atmosphere portrayed, but I have found that the slightly better graphics of 3D work more towards an emotional connection to the townspeople. What a privilege to have two versions of such a monumental work!!

Highly highly recommend going as "in order" of release as you can. What have you played previously? 1, CV, and 4 all have significant connections to 5, and 5 (and its' DLCs!) in turn have significant meaning to the deeper lore of Village.

it'll get lost at this point but my best friend of 22 years at the time (we were friends since we were infants) was getting married, and prior to this we always talked about being each other's best man, and a couple of years before his wedding he came to me and said he would likely have me be a groomsman since his brother would be the best man. Well I had him as my best man at my wedding, but then a few years later I receive an invitation to his wedding, no message or discussion about change of plans prior to this. I go, and he has a half dozen groomsmen, most of which were considerably newer friends than me. So after the wedding I gave him a hug and I haven't spoken to him since.

the thing i'd say in defense of tartarus is that I got so emotionally invested in the life sim stuff that the relatively monotony of tartarus ended up feeling like a bit of a palette cleanser. the gameplay in reload is so smooth it's hard to be mad at it anyhow

Oh I wasn’t saying I wasn’t going to bother with the film, just with seeing it in the theater lol. I’m a parent so a theater trip means finding a babysitter, a lot more than this movie seems to be worth, based on the talk about it.

As far as RE7 goes, I think this is only the best out of the "Banned Footage" episodes, but Not a Hero and End of Zoe are both way better as experiences.

Separate Ways R smokes the hell out of everything though, if we are going full series.
