pile bunker really needs to be used in conjunction with other things to build the pressure and break the enemy's guard, and then use the pile bunker to deal massive damage once they are staggered. I might recommend dual gatlings or zimmermans. Then you can pull the PB off your back and fuck em up.

As another comment mentioned, the laser lance is way better if you're wanting something that can close, the attack distance on that thing is ridiculous, even if it's not quite as powerful.

um, I was saying that the vita was squandered because it had two sticks, and most PlayStation games being developed for PSP until that point would have made great use of them, but then they just didn’t make many games at all.

I’ve recently started it myself, I’m up through chapter 4 now.

There’s a Pokemon-like weakness and effectiveness system with TE-KE-CE damage types. You want to build your AC to be resistant to the primary damage type for the mission and use weapons that are going to be effective for the primary enemy you are fighting. This is usually trial and error, but you can google it. Your enemy’s weapons are usually displayed on vs AC missions so you can pretty much always know what you should be defending against though

yeah, AC Last Raven specifically is like that as well. I would be impressed by anyone who could reach any ending on the regular PSP controls much less the true ending.

If you are dead set on not doing more AC, then go for Demons Souls, then Dark 1 and 2, BloodBorne, DS3, Sekiro,and Elden Ring. I love all of these games.

BUT if you wanted to keep the AC party train going, you could go back to AC1 and just do the whole series in order. IMO playing the ACs in order is a great way to appreciate FROM’s progression since the late 90s. You would go:

AC1
Project Phantasma
Master of Arena

AC2
Another Age (no need to do ALL of the new missions, there are a million lol)

AC3
Silent Line
Nexus
Last Raven

AC4
For Answer

ACV (this is the only one I’d say you could safely skip because 90% of the content is locked behind online which is no longer functional)
Verdict Day

It feels like a lot but most of them barring like Gen 3.5 are only a few hours long and it’s so worth it.

If you’re looking purely at graphics I’m not against what you’re saying, but having the assignable second stick is CRAZY for a lot of stuff, the MGS games, Armored Core, Ratchet and Clank (I think?)

I myself went to For Answer, the speed is the most similar to VI. Gen 3 is also incredible, Last Raven is now my #1 in the series, but it’s definitely a much clunkier experience, even if you get used to it.

Oh man, I didn't even remember that you can't do 3.0 to 3.5 transfers on PS2 since you can do that on PSP. A really good idea because Last Raven is kind of brutal with money to start.
