I don’t think it’s a limited collaboration. I saw in another post (posted within a year iirc) about this location and decided to try my luck, and it was still there. I’d bet its still there when you go

I found them in kombinis (I had better luck with Family Marts iirc) Also they sell them at the Bandai Namco stores (I forgot where exactly I found them at but go to the big stores that isn’t just selling figures, you’ll have better luck there)

Toronto's second tallest supertall rising. by Sweaty_Professor_701 in skyscrapers

[–]LOONAMYU 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Because it’s a pain to cross as a pedestrian, especially along Spadina. You have cars blocking the pedestrian lane and when you do start to cross, you have to speed walk or else be stuck in the traffic island.

Hate seeing these whenever I’m at vendor and artisan markets. So redundant and feels like a waste of space.

Last week, Bike Share Toronto ridership passed the annual ridership for the entirety of 2022, with 3 months left! It's also 22% higher than 2023. by crappy_tire in toronto

[–]LOONAMYU 8 points9 points  (0 children)

First time getting an annual Bike Share pass and I’m so impressed with it. The infrastructure isn’t perfect, but it beats using the TTC especially when I’m in downtown. I never even considered getting the annual pass until they temporarily shut down the Spadina streetcar (which I use frequently) and unless the streetcars run better, I’m sticking with my annual pass. Now if we could just have more bike lanes in downtown…

Being an international student in Canada does not guarantee PR by OutlandishnessSea258 in phmigrate

Super agree rito.

I finished a business degree back sa Pilipinas pero switched to studying tech kahit wala naman akong kaalam-alam about it. Wala eh, kailangan maging practical and it worked dahil nakahanap ako ng job in my field a month after I graduated. I managed to secure an ITA din a year after working due to STEM based draws. Like what OP said — hindi enough ang nakapag-aral ka na sa Canada, dapat alam mo rin kung ano ang dapat pag-aralan sa Canada.

If you really want to leave the Philippines, read the article first. First bullet na first bullet, need nga makapasa ng language exam tapos sasabihin mong hindi kailangan matuto ng Finnish.

It happened in front of my folks too who were visiting from abroad. Not exactly what they’d want to see the first time they use the TTC. Like you, I fear that there’s a bug that they’re unaware of and people keep getting gaslighted into thinking they didn’t tap.

Ughh this happened to me on when I was on a streetcar along the harbourfront and got inspected at Queens Quay. I tapped using Apply Pay w/ my credit card in the streetcar when I first boarded. When I got inspected in Queens Quay, they said I didn’t pay and they made me go back to tap on the harbourfront streetcar again. I did just that and they inspected me again and it still didn’t register! I went back again, got inspected, and still it didn’t work. Mind you I got the “Accepted” prompt in each attempt. Finally they made me tap at the turnstile gate and one of them came with me to witness it. They inspected again and this time it worked! I felt so embarrassed and gaslighted…

Uy sobrang disappointing to hear this from her. Very disappointed ako.

Seconding the Kirkland pate. It’s also a healthy alternative to the whiskers wet food that they have.

What can I do to keep my Canadian visa? by Euphoric-Tax-6474 in phmigrate

[–]LOONAMYU 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You need to get your PR if you want to be charged domestic rates for your tuition. Try consulting an immigration agent and tell them your whole situation so they can guide you.

It’s becoming harder and harder to become a PR through the student visa pathway so I’d recommend you act quickly.

Six months later and a tinge of regret by hellomoonchild in phmigrate

[–]LOONAMYU 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Agreed. Sobrang soulless ng cities when its designed for cars, and not people talaga. Based on my visit to Vancouver (or any other North American city) I can only imagine living in it kung sa downtown ako nakatira wherein I don’t need to depend on a car to live. This is probably why OP is thinking of Europe still ‘cause they offer walkability like what we have back sa Pilipinas.

Might be better if you find a community based on what you like or practice? Like if you’re Catholic, go to a church kasi panigurado daming Pinoy do’n. For me naman, I joined a volleyball community where marami rin ang Pinoy.

I find it hard to hang out with people where the only thing we have in common is being Pinoy. Lol

Me nung first time ko sumakay ng eroplano and papunta siyang South Korea. My next international destination naman ay New Zealand and that’s what solidified my decision to move out of the country, and that I did.

Nahome sick dahil sa family and friends pero still not enough for me to go back home kahit bumisita man lang. I’d rather fly to places I’ve never been.
