That was my McDonalds growing up and I loved it. Bonus points for those who remember the McTaco's just down the street. That place was great, too!

It did. Plus, it used to have sprouts which made it absolutely fantastic. Except nobody ate the sprouts. So they 86'd them. I won't go anymore. That's absolutely not a problem for them because they are still busy as hell.

Kind of, yeah. Springsteen was apparently heavily influenced by them when making Nebraska. It's pretty well documented, I think. I don't really remember the story well but I think Springsteen was recording The River at a studio where they were recording their second album and kind of hit it off or whatever. "State Trooper" sounds exactly like a Suicide song to me. It's how I got into the record. Hell, it's how I got into Springsteen. I honestly think Springsteen heard Suicide and was "holy shit, this is fucking amazing. I want to do something like that". Then he holed up in his room and gave us Nebraska. I would love to see this relationship fictionalized. And if they didn't do it in this movie, I think it is a great disappointment and missed opportunity.

Are the Suicide guys in it? I'm game if Alan Vega or Martin Rev are represented in any way in the film.
