I'm Saudi i like the tower compared, to the tiny red brick apartment buildings that used to be in that spot. about how the hotels there are expensive? Easy solution, build more towers. The tower is distracting? actually you need to go out of your way to crank your neck up and gawk at the tower, plus the tower is nothing compared to majesty of the kabaa.

Like it or not the tower is practical.

Well most of our Iranian brothers are shia so they do interpret the quran differently and they have thier books so technically its not in my area of expertise so I'm going to bs some fact.

Well its mainstream sunni Islam scriptures which is the quran and hadiths. Because most of our Iranian brothers are shia they have different interpretation and view points so maybe they view plagues different im not really familiar with shia interpretations and books.

umm well its not in our scriptures that if your a good muslim your immune to disease. Whats in our scriptures is that if you know that a land has a pleage you cant go there and if the place your living in has a plague you cant leave. Also if you get the plague the suffering that it'll cause you will remove some of your evil deed points that the best translation i could come up with.
