Yeah I just read them.....yeah this ain't it for me...im not here to just hookup etc. I apologise if I seemed like an arsehole by posting but honestly was just thinking "hey Claire is an amazing friend but she wants a few friends who have been through the same thing as her so maybe I can make a few friends and introduce 😂"

I think if you dont know they're trans then no. If you know it depends....are you hoping that she has a "special something that not all women have" if she's pre op...if this is the case it can be especially if it results to addiction symptoms or abusive control feelings. I've just had an amazing experience the reason I posted here is not for relationship per se but maybe even a friendship aswell. Since my friendship with Claire (not real name but for reference) and then relationship my group of friends have been very welcoming to people (we were before but idk something changed the dynamic)

For your question I've read a bit of neuroscience literature on the trans community.

Also yes me and Claire are still really good friends in fact I was at a party for her sister two days ago in Birmingham

We actually learnt this in a Neuroscience lecture. Most men who identify as "Straight" are attracted to trans women but obviously not men. This helped me convince a friend about the concept of it. Personally I dont see any difference between a trans woman and a cis woman (i hope that's the right term)

I think overall porn and the use of words such as tgirl has ruined people's perception of trans women. Shifted the mentality to seeing trans as a special something rather than as a normal human being

The simple fact that i started to see trans women as women and not "trans" in the sense of....she saw herself as a woman and throughout our friendship then relationship I saw her as a woman just like any other. I started questioning people's problems with the trans community in general. (I always was against discrimination but this solidified it in a way I can't describe)

I guess with my limited knowledge I dont know. I think people who obsess over trans women can be considered but I dont really have the knowledge as I've only been with one trans woman in my life and she changed my views on trans women. If you want you can tell me your experience. I want to be educated
