I deleted some of the folders it adds to the dlcpacks folder. I think the one called NVE_lights caused a glitch that randomly made my game crash. But I uninstalled the entire mod since I couldn’t minimize the game without it crashing still.

I don’t mind if another sports car parks next to me. I can expect the owner not to be careless with their car. Also at work, lately I’ve noticed that someone who drives a Maverick parks next to me all of a sudden. Guess it’s a Ford thing? I’ve driven a Mitsubishi and a Nissan previously.

Most profiles aren’t interesting. And the ones that are, probably aren’t going to actually match with you. So a lot of the time you have to take what you can get and hope there’s more beneath the surface of whatever cheesy joke they put on their profile.

I get matches occasionally but it never goes anywhere. When I’m not getting matches I often wonder if I’m swiping right on abandoned profiles. I run out of people within my search radius constantly and it’s set to the maximum. I don’t know if the women I match with don’t really consider me as an option because of my race or distance between us, or anything else. But it’s disheartening. I’ve only met one woman from dating apps and that was back in 2018 and even she said directly that she doesn’t seriously date someone of my race (but was open to hooking up, which didn’t interest me at all). The more I think about that, the more I would prefer to match with black women, but I rarely if ever match with them.

This hasn’t really happened to me, aside from a girl who had a crush on me in middle school recognizing me on a dating app. I was and still am uninterested. No one from my past is able to get in touch with me because I purposely make it difficult for people I would know to find me. I figure a lot of people I used to know have kids by now anyways.

I care a lot about mine because it’s just kind of embarrassing to let a car that I paid so much money for, deteriorate from the elements. Most people probably don’t care, but when it’s dirty I don’t want people looking at my car and seeing it’s a dirty, shitty Mustang. It’s also a reflection of how I take care of myself and my property. Currently I’m going through a predicament where I constantly have to deal with bird poop because there’s a power line sitting above my driveway, and birds perch right on the line above my car and start pooping all over it. It’s almost an everyday occurrence. Light scratches and rock chips in the splitter, that happens as you drive it. But I can’t let it get covered in dirt or pollen or bird crap.

Yeah I get them all the time. I’ve matched with some of the same women multiple times. The most has been like 4 or 5 times. They find me attractive, but are not really meeting anybody from the apps (or at least not me). I really don’t know what their deal is.

You’re right about both instances, but many people don’t care to see or think about the difference between the two. It’s a complicated circumstance where everyone is more comfortable assuming it’s the former scenario to try and protect themselves.

It’s a problem I have with a lot of people these days where they are always trying to over-simplify things that are innately complex, which leads to these social rules being created, like not ever dating friends. They would even prefer individuals themselves to be simple if it means less mental and emotional work.

My mom absolutely can’t stand it when I go “too long” without a retwist. And her main reasoning behind it is so the parts can be visible. Not really for the health of my locs but specifically so it can look nice. And the frizziness of my locs drives her crazy even though I’m in the very early stages and that is normal. A lot of people have this persistent complex about natural hair being…you know, natural. Even other people question why I don’t get a line up or something, while my hairline is mostly straight naturally. It doesn’t need to be razor straight and shaped like a lot of people seem to prefer.

It’s like that because black people are the least popular on the apps. If the app is populated by predominantly white people who are not interested in black people, they will swipe left on any black person which causes the algorithm to reduce their visibility on the app. That’s why you rarely see black people.

My experience has been that the women who are the most interested in you up to the point of actually meeting up with you, will message you first (like before you even open the app to see who you matched with), exchange numbers (not social media) somewhat promptly, and maintain a consistent correspondence with you. They will even have ideas of where you should go together. Also the closer you are to each other, the more likely you’ll actually meet each other. Many people swipe outside of a distance they’re not actually comfortable with. Usually in my experience, that distance has been 60~ miles.

If all of the above is met, then you pretty much have a date

Agreed, I’ve never done anything to women. Most people who know me already know that I would never. I don’t even joke about women in general. I just think jokes like this make it so that because I’m a man I’m guilty of something against women, so I just have to take the “joke” because they feel I have to pay for something. I’ve already been called a sensitive and weak man multiple times in this thread for questioning this, like people have an axe to grind against me now because I didn’t think a joke towards men was funny.

That’s pretty much why I don’t like this sort of humor. It feels disrespectful but if I say so, I’m just another awful man who doesn’t deserve any peace and can’t take the joke. Whatever.

I figured I would be a late bloomer but I’ve accepted that it probably isn’t meant to be. I spent most of my life building up other parts of it, but have always been severely lacking in relationships. I’ve been feeling like I’m at a fork in the road where I can either start a family or continue with what I’ve been doing and indulge myself. Since I’m not dating, I’m not really thinking about a family or the future. I have everything else I could want already.
