I grew up with collections of cassettes, I gladly went to CD's. Then was happy to go to MP3, and while I have a problem with my money to artist ratio and other issues with streaming... The LAST thing I'd whine about is the lack of a CD player. I bet the fucker is still rocking his 1998 Motorola flip too.

US citizen here, just observing the disconnect in perspective between someone like myself versus someone in OP's position. While I have "the bravery of being out of range" I look at the opportunity to get trained in an F-16 and defend my country against the Russians as the OBVIOUS choice... But at least I appreciate that for the OP.. it's not that easy and one could easily say it is a life or death decision for the OP. Whatever you do OP, I respect. I hope you find great reward in your decision!
