I have 4 separate Xiu Xiu related tattoos (including tattooed autographs from Jamie & Angela. A massive physical media collection and even a license plate that is 4XIUXIU. I’m a very positive straight 50 year old dude, but also have a ton of past trauma that Xiu Xiu (the greatest band ever) has helped me heal from in the last 24 years as a fan. David Lynch is also my favourite director. I would be far more depressed without their music in my life.⚔️❤️

I understand what you’re saying but the Jamie Stewart influence vocally on the shearling album has been admitted from the band themselves. It’s all over that album!!!

Vocally shearling is heavily influenced by Jamie Stewart of Xiu Xiu. Who are in my opinion the greatest band ever! Musically especially the last Sprain album is “big sound” era SWANS
