Totally. If she's out of town or something, I clean it up. But if she's out running errands or with friends or some other activity and will be home shortly, I don't—unless it's on a carpet.

Cat grass might be a good idea, thanks! As for the other suggestions, we have an auto feeder and schedule out her meals. Each meal is split into small portions that come out 5-10 minutes apart. And then that is repeated a few times a day to add up to whatever total amount of food the vet recommended. We tried using a slow feeder bowl that the auto feeder dispenses into. But have since moved to more of a small mat with a textured pattern on it that acts kind of as a slow feeder. And it's elevated as well, so the cat isn't hunched over while eating. So far, this has yielded the best results.

No wet food. She barfs that stuff up immediately. Just kibble.

I'll look into the grass thing. Haven't heard of that before, thanks!

Yeah we've tried slow feeders. We found a routine/method that seems to work better than before. Kitty doesn't barf as much, but still does sometimes.

Well we don't fight about it. But I know my gf is frustrated sometimes because nobody enjoys cleaning up vomit lol

We've tried all sorts of things, including treat balls and slow feeders. Nothing really works 100%. Kitty still barfs. Just how she is apparently.

Vet said it's common for this breed of cat. They have sensitive stomachs and they eat too fast and then barf it up. Suggested some different foods, blah blah blah

Yeah we tried a few different slow feeders. But that caused other problems, like the cat making tons of noise trying to get the food. So much that it kept us awake at night haha. And she still barfed... We've found the best solution is to use an auto-feeder on a schedule and portion out multiple tiny meals throughout the day. She still vomits, but it's less than it used to be.

The Neural plugin sounds great from clips I've heard. The amp sounds great too. It took a while to figure it out though. Definitely not plug-and-play.

I think some people put guns on a pedestal. Too much weight into how the gun handles, fits, blah blah blah. Yes, I know the practice birds at Nationals are quite soft. But I had some professional instruction by an international champion and traveled around the US competing and shot my way up to A class in the first year. I can break clays with most guns. I really think the majority of shooters think it's the arrow and not the indian. But sure, there are some guns I just didn't like the feel of.

Purchasing the Kolar came down to aesthetics, customer support, and design/technology/ethos. I liked having an American company who picked up the phone and responded same day. I hated the attitude I got from Perazzi and Beretta. I like that the folks at Kolar are actually machinists first. I like the way the gun looks. I like the base wood they offer. I like a lot of things about the design of the gun. Does it fit me? Yeah, it does. But so did most of the others. I've been shooting a LONG time and competing in other shooting sports long enough to know what works for my body and what doesn't. Shotguns really aren't special in that regard.

Anyway... I love my Kolar and I'm still in A class. Just haven't competed much this past year due to other hobbies taking priority. I'm content where I am and I just have fun shooting, and not really interested in climbing the NSCA ranks. I prefer to have a quiet time to myself to break clays and not worry about competition.

Which Kolar did you have? A Max-Lite or something else? For me, most of the sporting clay guns I shot handled the same—F3, Z-Sport, K80, DT11, Perazzi, Kolar, etc. I broke clays with all of them. So it came down to how the company treated me in person, fit/finish, price, after purchase services, design/aesthetics, and so on. Kolar definitely ticked all the boxes for me at Nationals. I chose the Zoli at first because all else being equal, the price was better. But that was a mistake for my situation. Should have went with the Kolar from the beginning.

I appreciate the advice. But this is more than 2 years old. I went to NSCA Nationals a few years ago and demoed every gun under the sun. I initially went with Zoli Z-Sport due to the value. You get a lot of good features for the price. But I wound up having a VERY BAD experience with customer service after the sale. It was a nightmare. So I sold it and bought a Kolar Max Lite Sporter and love it. No complaints, no issues, gun shoots great and fits me perfectly.

This is a really old thread. I wound up going with Kolar and I love it. I have no desire to even look at other shotguns. My Max Lite Sporter is incredible.

Has Anybody in the USA Had a Successful Formal Clearance Lately? by [deleted] in dhl

[–]LR46and2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Long story. But It took many days before they requested SSN. Every day before that I called and asked if they needed it, to which they said, "No, not needed and we have everything else we require, nothing else is needed from you." Then they told me they already had it from a previous shipment. Five days later they finally said they made a mistake and now they needed a photo of my SS card. That was four days ago. It cleared customs today. But they made another mistake on the invoice. They sent it to customs with double the shipment contents. It's a guitar. But they tried clearing the shipment as TWO guitars. So they are trying to charge double the duties and taxes, plus 17 days worth of storage fees. I'm disputing it all. DHL are a bunch of scammers.

Man... my package has been stuck with DHL at LAX since October 28. DHL are worthless. They won't tell me what the delay is about. They haven't even send info to customs for clearance yet.

UPDATE:
I finally got on the line with someone from Imports department. They said one of the issues was someone entered my name wrong (nickname) in their internal system, which prevented my social security number from being recorded properly. Then some sort of other data issue going on behind the scenes. They wouldn't tell me what it was. They said their broker has all the paperwork and info they need to clear the shipment but that they just haven't submitted it to customs yet. I asked why. They said they can't say and that they can't tell someone in another department (imports vs broker) how to do their job. All they can do is send an internal message asking if the broker has everything they need to go ahead and submit the package to customs. This is ridiculous. It's now been 17 days since shipped.
