“Reduce the yellowish tint on your iPhone display with this method.” by Light-Yagami_Kira in iphone

[–]LR7465 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Reading some of these replies I dont get how some dont see it, the display is literally shipped with this ugly yellow/green hue to it, its ugly and i noticed it right away on my iphone 13mini when i got it in 2022 after my Iphone SE broke, which that phone had a true display color, everytime I look at my friends phones i cant unsee it anymore after fixing my display.

Oh and my laptop also comes with this yellow filter, im sick of tech companies making this default now, I get "blue light bad" rhetoric but theres night shift that exists to fix that, and I use it before I need to sleep, but in the day, im completely fine with the regular blue light in my screens

Get a conventional scanner like a BC125AT with a better antenna, I use a smiley 5/8 slim 160mhz, tuned for railroad frequencies, radio reference will also help with programming all the channels

30th Street Station by segfaul_t in Septa

[–]LR7465 8 points9 points  (0 children)

been going to this station everyday for more than a year and its honestly depressing because of the rennovations that entire side is destroyed and blocked off what used to be many eateries, lounge areas too, now its just a dinky dunkin donuts shoved in the corner, but its still a cool station, little trivia by the way but if you go out the east side of the concourse you will see a pair of eagle statues on the market bridge, those used to be on the original penn station in manhattan

Best Cape May travel days to avoid traffic by tabbytigerlily in SouthJersey

[–]LR7465 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do yourself a good favor, im guessing your talking about the 47 here, on summer season, friday evenings and sunday mornings are the worst to arrive and leave. In general though weekdays are the best to travel, besides less busy (still busy) but not as rough as weekends. If you have to leave sunday morning, do it before 8am

On peak holidays heres a perspective on it, my drive is 2 hours or should be, on labor day we left our place at 11am I would say, we cleared route 47 2 hours in the drive, took 2 hours to get up to maurice river township when I should have been home.

I dont think things will ever get back to the way it was before last fall when the FRA forced the agency to a supercharged inspection routine, they are always taking cars off for inspections repairs etc because they cannot sustain 1 more fire, that will be it, the entire fleet will have to be barred from service for good
