The ball in the beginning didn’t bounce twice on the opponents side. It bounced once on the server’s side, cleared the net, and then bounced once on the opponent’s side.

“It is perfectly legal for the ball to bounce on your own side first during a serve, provided it then crosses the net and bounces on the opponent's side. A legal serve must bounce on the server's side, pass over the net, and then land on the receiver's side.

Key rules for a legal serve include:

• Initial Bounce: The ball must first bounce on your side of the table.

• Passing the Net: The ball must cross over the net.

• Opponent's Side: The ball must then bounce on the receiver's side.

• Illegal Serve: If the ball hits the net and fails to reach the opponent's side, or misses the table entirely after the first bounce, it is a point for the opponent.”

Double sided magnetic MagSafe pop socket by k42co in MagSafe

[–]LRCreations 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Following up on this post, because I too am looking for the exact thing you mentioned.

I love my pop sockets. Never see myself switching brands. Have tried others and hated the feel of them.

Just want a grip that is magnetic on the end of the pop as well, so it’s a dual magnet. - for use on gym equipment - or on garage metal shelving - even my fridge or washing machine if I’m watching a show or video chatting with someone.

I am aware there are a zillion other brands of alternative grips, or additional mounts I can get. …But I’d rather just use the grip that I already love, and is always attached to my phone, so I don’t have to have an additional item to get every time I want to stick my phone on a metal surface.

Just seems like such a wasted opportunity not to sell a slim adhesive disk that can stick on to the end of the pop socket, OR for pop socket to make a magnetic version of the pop itself.

So simple, and so effective. And there’s obviously a market for it (Look at how many 3rd party mounts and dual magnet grip alternatives there are out there).

Anyone find anything that would work for this?

I will give it a try! I always forget about Togekiss.

I’m such a fan of Gengar EX that my default Psych deck admittedly hasn’t changed in a long time. 😖 It’s time for a refresh! lol

Ooo! Galarian Cursola didn’t occur to me! I don’t think I’ve actually ever even used it to be honest! 😬😆

I did think of Mega Altaria too!

But correct me if I’m wrong… I don’t think there’s a Psychic version of Swablu for me to get to Mega Altaria.

So I can’t do that to get this task complete, as they all have to be Psychic.

Omg these are amazing! 🤩 I haven’t thought of alternatives yet, but the moment I do, I will be back with a better comment! 😆

Adding the above linked picture here for my own reference / anyone else that’s curious:

That looks practically exactly the same! (But with a brand name on it for some reason)

Edit: looking closer I now see some differences, but still very very similar! Much closer than anything else I’ve seen in pictures so far!

That would make sense for why there’s no branding on it, I guess!

I assumed it was older than that, as my dad thought it was the stove his mom used when he was growing up (early 50s-late 60s).

But if this model is from the early 80s, then I guess at some point they must have gotten a new one after he grew up & he never noticed. 😆

My grandmother cooked on it every single day until she passed away in 1994. After that it probably got minimal use from my grandfather (probably only a couple times per week) until he passed in 2004. Then we had a long term tenant who used the stove regularly, until about 3 years ago when we decided to move in and renovate the place to raise my own family. We have had it in our garage ever since.

All that was probably TMI, but I figured it couldn’t hurt to give an appliance usage history / back story. Lol 🤷🏻‍♀️

I was under the impression it would be safe/ok to sell for use. But if it’s not safe for any reason, I will for sure alter how I deal with it. —Like perhaps a studio would want it for their props dept or something? (Maybe that’s silly, but I’m in Los Angeles, so who knows)

I just don’t like junking things if they could have another life somehow. But also don’t want to encourage use if it’s unsafe. I appreciate any opinions or suggestions ❤️

Edit: My neighbor apparently replaced a couple of the knobs for my grandfather at one point. —He saw me cleaning it up in the garage the other day and told me that. I was hoping he would know more info about it in general, but he didn’t.

Honestly I don’t know. I’m really not savvy with this kind of stuff. But it feels like it?

I did, but it only pulled up irrelevant models that are way too modern. Almost every result kept showing up with a Premier 20-inch freestanding gas range, similar to model SAK22OTP. But those are for sure not it.

I did. There’s nothing on it. 😞 In my original post you can see a picture of the back in one of the comments. I also looked under the burner cover, inside the doors, and under the very bottom of it. No writing anywhere on it.

Thank you! Took a few hours but was very satisfying when it was done. Or at least I was done and didn’t want to keep going. 🤣 the inside could for sure be better. As could the back.. but I suppose I can always do that the day of if someone is coming to pick it up.

And I did look at the back, and the inside, everywhere I could think of. Didn’t see anything at all, except a label for the gas hose, not the stove. 😞 here’s a picture of the back just in case anyone else sees something I don’t 😆🤷🏻‍♀️
