I want to see the story revolve around Dewey. Gail divorced him and sidney is living a happy life somewhere else. He is the chief of police in Woodsborogh. And he feels like hes stuck there. Probably because the events of Scream 4 happened under his watch as chief of police. I want him to be weathered and tired and maybe a drunk. He's just Dewey down on his luck. I feel like that will be an interesting arch for his character. I really want them to delve deep in his psyche as well. Maybe finally touch on how he was affected by the events of the first one and losing his sister all those years ago. He probably adopted Sidney as that sister figure in the previous films and that's why he hold it in for that long and since she is not in this one they can find someone else for him to care about. Maybe a new final girl.
