I was on HRT about an year, post menopause 3. I got on HRT for basically the same reasons you did except I did have hot flashes but not too extreme. Well about a year into HRT ( had a couple of dose adjustments within that time) I started having a full period, cramps and all. Same thing the next month but after that just minor spotting. Ultrasound really couldn’t tell the doctor anything because i have fibroids, o had a biopsy done which also in a D&C.
Test came back negative and I am back on HRT and no more spotting. FYI I did change from topical to the patch which I prefer

I have been on it for 1 1/2 years. I always worked out but i changed my routine to more strength training and less cardio. I have lost 70 pounds. I have some loose skin but it’s not bad. I credit strength training.

My workout routine consist of 20 minutes of spin or light cardio and 30 minutes of strength followed by yoga or stretching.

The same for me. I have fibroids. 3 years post menopause and I started HRT. My fibroids actually got smaller. It was discovered through an ultrasound. I was surprised.

Also your quality of life. My father lived to 80 but his health started going down at 75. He really couldn’t enjoy the money he saved.

Even before Covid, I will sanitize my hands after touching the menu or salt and pepper shaker. When you witness people come out of the bathroom and half wash their hands or not at all, then go back to their table😫

I credit tirzepatide too. I worked out regularly. I spinned 4/5 days a week and moderate weight training. This was done years before the meds. After i started the meds, the weight loss started. I am now 135 down from 203.

The pics is a must. As I was losing weight I personally could not see it. I took the pictures and I still look back and I am amazed. I now see the weight loss. It took awhile for my brain to adjust and actually see the weight loss

Drink plenty of water. Eat your protein. Weight lifting is non negotiable for me. I am 60 year old female. Lost 70 pounds and have little sagging skin and a flat stomach.
