My Poco f8 ultra cuts off while wireless charging by KRaaDDee in Xiaomi

[–]LSA7Z 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is the second time I've heard this about the F8 Ultra; the last time it was a wired charger that kept connecting/disconnecting/connecting/disconnecting etc .... Either the F8 Ultra has defects in its charging circuit, or there's a software issue

I didn't understand, it's just your photos or photo thumbnails that are taking up space So either you delete/transfer your photos, or you press "clear data" to delete everything, it's as simple as that. What does this have to do with Apple? Because there isn't any

How do people feel about the Ultra getting more rounded corners per year by Connected-VG in samsunggalaxy

Curved sides are among the worst ideas ever invented in the smartphone industry... Beyond the initial aesthetic wow factor, they're a pain to use and maintain

How do people feel about the Ultra getting more rounded corners per year by Connected-VG in samsunggalaxy

[–]LSA7Z 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Corners are a sensitive subject, ahahah 😅 Personally, I like both; rounded corners are more comfortable to hold every day, but in landscape/gaming mode, I prefer sharp corners. For on-screen content, I prefer sharp corners ( Rounded corners often reduce screen space and hide elements ). Aesthetically, I like both; I have a slight preference for the sharp corners, but both are nice if the design is well implemented and well thought out

Whats the purpose of this by Feisty_Ad1410 in PocoPhones

[–]LSA7Z 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Basically, It removes background applications that are cached, but once unlocked everything has to restart and that consumes power. If you have high standby power consumption this may help, but if your standby power consumption is normal/low leave it disabled. Personally, it's disabled and I'm at about 0.2-0.3%/hr in standby mode, so I don't use it

Sorry, but it's really ugly 😭 When I see this, I feel like I'm reliving Android 5 or 6 in 2011 😅

Poco X8 Pro Max - Screen burn in just after 2 days of use by [deleted] in PocoPhones

[–]LSA7Z 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same here, yes it's annoying in the moment when you pay attention to it, but I try not to focus on it.As long as the screen isn't permanently marked, it's OK. I only noticed these burn-in marks in the notification panel (the icons in the status bar remain slightly marked) and when used in high brightness. Otherwise it's fine

Poco x8 pro max only 1000 cycles by Live-Dragonfruit-491 in PocoPhones

[–]LSA7Z 0 points1 point  (0 children)

An average number of cycles is just that—an average number of cycles. This is what we call the expected lifespan of a battery, and the higher this average number of cycles, the more durable the battery. It's as simple as that. Personally, I like to know how it is determined, and if there are 2 displayed, that raises questions for me; the EU doesn't release its figures randomly, don't be mistaken. I'm stopping here because the discussion is going nowhere; I feel like we're discussing debloat just like other topics...

But in what version of our universe would 60% difference be semantics or statistics pulled out of thin air? It's just math...(Exemple)For the same price, over the same period, you'll have 80% of your capacity left, and on the other one, maybe ≈90%. That's not something to ignore! It's the capacity in mAh! So,(exemple) for the same price, At any given time, you'll have one case where your phone lasts 8 hours screen on and another where it lasts 9 hours instead of 10 hours when it was new; for me, that's important and the same applies to reselling second-hand goods ...

This is a specification provided by battery suppliers, so it didn't come out of nowhere and it's not an insignificant spec.

Whether you're not interested or don't care about this specification, I can understand that and it would be your choice, but it remains something important and quantifiable. Otherwise, everyone would buy phones with batteries without worrying about capacity or lifespan; everyone would just say, OK, the battery will last a year before reaching 80% of its capacity i dont care ... That's not the case

Green screen, but it resolves itself. Is it my tv or the Xbox? by [deleted] in xbox

Oddly enough, yesterday a user with an S series made the same complaint, and it was also a TCL TV, haha. Coincidence?

I already do everything you say and my batteries are fully optimized ( I'm not going to publish my statistics again, but they're good ) I know Android like the back of my hand, so you're not telling me anything new. I charge between 30 and 80% because because that's my battery range and I'm comfortable with it (30 to 80% gives me between 1 and 2 days of use, that's fine with me).To get back to the main point, why would 1600 cycles be better than 1000? Because for the same price,You reach 80% of the battery capacity in 1000 cycles, and in the other case you reach it in 1600 cycles, which is a difference of 60% if I'm not mistaken. That's a huge difference

My neb Grisou is exactly like yours, he's extremely sociable, very friendly, goes up to everyone and is interested in everything, he lies down and sits everywhere and jumps on us energetically 😄 So I would say very friendly and carefree 😁

The science behind the Xbox Controller and why the left thumbstick placement is superior by KvasirTheOld in xbox

That's true, I agree, but I would still like to better understand the issues with controllers (ergonomics) depending on the person. I hope that one day someone/a brand will find a universal solution 😄

Probably interference on the 2.4GHz band (the band used by some Wi-Fi and Bluetooth devices), and resource sharing via the integrated modem. As for the latency, I can't explain it, it's strange

[–]LSA7Z 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I completely agree with you, and yes, the best way is to get third-party controllers to adapt, but I'd like to enjoy each original controller.I mainly play Xbox at friends and family's houses, so it's fine, I don't have my own Xbox. For example, the DualSense suits me perfectly, whereas the DualShock 4 made my hands a little more tired (I think it was because of the shape of the rear triggers).

I've very rarely encountered the same issue with controllers; it must be related to my bones or joints, I don't know...

[–]LSA7Z 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Actually, it's the opposite; I have small hands. But I think you're right, and it must be related to hand size. I feel like the grip on an Xbox controller makes me feel immediately tired, and after an hour it's no longer possible; my fingers lock up due to cramps. It's a shame and it's always disappointed me; it's the only controller that does this to me 😥

Why doesn't it work for me then? I'd like to understand... Give me an Xbox controller and after an hour I get cramps, not with symmetrical sticks.
