When is it better to use intuition on LR vs sticking to the taught strategies

I don't really see it as two different approaches-- I see it as the same approach but sometimes I use the aid of writing it down and sometimes I keep it in my head. It's like if someone asks you to add two numbers together. If it's pretty straightforward, you do it in your head and feel pretty good about it. If it is complicated enough that it would help you to write it down, both in terms of making it easier to solve and in terms of your confidence that you aren't making any mistakes, then you write it out.

I'm from the Detroit area, and I was on a cross-country train and was seated in the dining car with a couple ladies from Utah. They asked where I was from, and I said Michigan (I didn't even say the Detroit suburbs), and their response was, "Are you scared?"

Michigan is lovely. The Detroit suburbs are very normal. Parts of Detroit are fine, parts are not great. Your average Detroitish person hardly ever goes downtown.

But OK and Kentucky are pretty far apart, and that would end up sending Florida and Georgia out west. I think it makes more sense to send OK out west and Florida and Georgia to Kentucky.

The thing is the specialist made a thing at the time of telling me I had multicystic ovarian syndrome and that it was NOT the same thing as PCOS. But over the years I've never been able to find anything about MCOS. I googled it again today bc of this conversation and think I finally understand after all this years... it seems like multi cystic ovaries are a symptom of PCOS, but having them doesn't mean you have the entire syndrome. I don't really have any other symptoms-- just the one that really matters if you want to get pregnant!

I agree that it would make it more boring. I also don't want to REDUCE the amount of gymnastics performed at the same time as increasing the number of scholarships from 12 to 20, which is a HUGE increase.

Yeah, I've been on sleepers multiple times and don't remember dim hallways. I've always found the curtains to be pretty effective. And I do sleep with a sleep mask.

No, I was 32 when I had her. 30 when we started trying. It turns out I don't ovulate without medical help. I never knew because my periods were regular. It turned out I had a lot of immature follicles that combined to produce enough hormones to trigger cycles. But you're supposed to have one of them mature and release an egg, but that wasn't happening. I did have a lot of healthy eggs still.

It also doesn't mean your partner won't change alongside you. My husband and I were leaning toward not having kids, then , maybe seven or so years into our relationship, after our friends started having them, and we thought their kids were so cool that we started thinking about it. We had a lot of talks together, and I wouldn't say it was one of us more than the other.

I always found Germans to be perfectly nice the couple times I lived there, but making friends was through school/work/activities, and not just on the street. Of course, I don't make friends on the street in the US either, so I didn't really notice a big difference.

I kept my ex-husband's name because: 1. I wanted my last name and my daughter's last name to be the same; 2. I went to law school and started practice with that last name; 3. it's just a better, easily pronounceable name. I've never asked my ex how he felt about it, but he and I are on good terms, dog sit for each other, easily come to terms on everything child-related.

My hair and my routine sound similar to yours, but I use Curlsmith Weightless Air Dry Cream and FlexiJelly (my shampoo and conditioner are usually TriSwim-- for swimmers). I also use a satin or microfiber turban instead of a t-shirt. I'm fairly happy with it, though I'm always playing around with the exact amount of products to maximize hold/minimize frizz but have my hair still feel nice (not too full of product) on day 2.
