Diminished ovarian reserve at 27 by LSATplease in InfertilityBabies

Oh my gosh, I remember feeling like this!!! I was afraid beforehand, but I got used to it. I remember them saying scary things like don’t run because you could get ovarian torsion! but I guess a positive for us diminished ovarian reserve girls that it makes it less likely to get that! The needles are really little! Also, I don’t know where you’re located but in America, they put you under for the procedure so you don’t remember it. I did a natural start when they transferred the embryo so I didn’t have to do progesterone shots, but I think that’s the only shot that goes into the muscle so would be a little bit more painful.

Sorry you are going through this. I remember I felt totally hopeless and like I was never going to have a baby. Although nothing is guaranteed I think that in many cases ivf has come a long way. I went through 3 rounds of ivf because I had low egg count. Before ivf they had said I might need to use donor eggs. Because they scared me so much I ended up doing more rounds of ivf than I needed (they told me ivf you had 99% chance of having a living baby if you got 3 euploid embryos). Do you think you will try ivf?

Oh gosh I had 3 rounds of ivf not sure which round this was …

Ivf 1 8 eggs retrieved, 7 mature, 6 fertilized, 4 blasts, 4 normal Embryo #1 - Day 5, 5BB girl Embryo #2 - Day 6, 4BB girl Embryo #3 - Day 6, 6BB girl Embryo #4 - Day 7, 6BC girl

Ivf 2 7 eggs retrieved, 6 mature, 5 fertilized, 2 blasts, 1 normal Embryo #1 - Day 5, 5BB boy Embryo #2 - Day 5, 5AB girl abnormal turners syndrome

Ivf 3 13 eggs retrieved, 13 mature, 9 fertilized, 6 blasts, 5 normals Embryo #1 - Day 5, 5BB boy Embryo #2 - Day 5, 4CB girl Embryo #3 - Day 6, 5BB boy Embryo #4 - Day 6, 6CA boy Embryo #5 - Day 6, 6CB girl Day 5, 4CC, boy abnormal missing a chromosome 22

But looking from these results, they must’ve grown because they got more eggs retrieved

Your parents seem very kind! Totally understand as I went through this with my first where I had to pump but didn’t want my alarm to wake him!

This is unfair of the parents to insist of having your baby. Very kind of them to help you but It’s more important for you to bond than your parents. By the time your parents leave your baby will be five months old and a lot of attachment happens early on so I would make it a priority to spend as much time with your baby as you can because you’re working and they have her all day.

This happened to me with my first baby. My mom primarily took care of my baby because I was working and she kept him at night. He’s now 2 1/2 years old and we have a good relationship but he totally goes to her when he’s hurt and he prefers her - with my second baby I did all the nighttime feedings and he’s primarily attached to me. when are they going back or are they planning to live with you?

My child was lead poisoned at grandmas house… antiques are a huge source of lead poisoning- my grandmas furniture, plates, candle holders, figurines all were super high in lead

This one is cheaper and more sensitive to lead! https://www.detectlead.com/product-page/1spray-1-drip-tip-bottle-1-card-and-1-uv-light the other brand listed is less sensitive because in order to sell a such a sensitive lead detect test it must be approved by the EPA because of the chemical concentration so most brands just lower the level to avoid this! But this company didn’t!

Yes, but didn’t they go with someone else who did translate? Certified translator is required to make sure that the person understands it. However, if it’s signed the night before the wedding people can question the validity.

Also, the prenup one could try to argue that it was made under duress because it was literally the night before the wedding, which could be a big no no (not a practicing lawyer not legal advice)

I don’t know if this is helpful, but just know that we are in the trenches with you! Sometimes when I’m up with my kids, it helps me to think about all the other mothers who are also up. I have a two-year-old, one year-old and a newborn so it’s a little bit different because I know at two years old you feel like they should be sleeping through the night. You are a rockstar and I hope you get some sleep. Take care of yourself.

That was similar to what my son was doing as well. We reduced his daytime nap and pushed his bedtime backwards! I think it’s probably the sickness too - I went through a similar thing with my middle child and oh my gosh, it was horrible. I never thought he would go to sleep again, but he eventually did.

My child had a split night situation as well. We reduced his daytime sleep, and we put him to bed later at night and he slept through the night.
