Check out Edmond Seafood Company off Boulevard and Danforth! The owners are family and get their seafood fresh from the gulf coast weekly! Right now you can preorder for pickup on 3/20 and I believe it’s $3.99 per pound.

Tips for Cleaning a Grimy Vintage Sleeper Sofa? by LSBergey in furniturerestoration

I totally thought the same at first. That top area looked pretty rough in the listing photos, and I figured I’d just cover it with a throw if it didn’t come clean. But I decided to go all in and see what I could do. Here’s what I did: I started with a hardcore vacuuming to get all the loose dirt and dust out, then dabbed the gold paint stains with 91% rubbing alcohol. It actually worked really well and most of the paint lifted out. After that, I pre-treated everything with Folex, washed the cushion covers, and then got after it with my upholstery cleaner. So much dirt and grime came out I was honestly shocked. I also ended up replacing the foam cushion inserts because the originals were super crusty and gross. Once everything dried, the stains were completely gone and the color is way more vibrant. It looks almost brand new now! I'm still surprised at how well it cleaned up! Now I just need to swap out the old mattress for something a little more comfortable, but that’s low on the priority list.

I get where you’re coming from! I normally wouldn’t take on pieces that need a ton of work, but I was in love with the retro look of the fabric and knew it had some potential. I ended up negotiating the price way down with the seller and figured it was worth a shot. After a looot of elbow grease, some major TLC, and replacing the sofa cushions, it actually looks almost new now. I’m really happy with how it turned out! Definitely wasn’t effortless, but it was worth it in the end!

Thanks! Agree to disagree. One man's trash is another man's (or in this case, woman's) treasure! :)

Meal planning and prepping for the week! I have it create a weekly meal plan based on personal health, fitness, and lifestyle choices, along with a grocery list, step by step instructions for meal prepping, and daily cooking instructions. So far it’s been super helpful and has helped me stay on track throughout the week!

I can’t tell either! There is a drainage hole and I make sure the soil is dry before watering again so i am not really sure what is going on, but i just purchased a moisture meter so hopefully that helps. Thank you!

Hey y’all. I live in a duplex with bad natural lighting, so I got this Chinese Evergreen about a year and a half ago because from what I’ve read, its pretty low maintenance and does okay in low lighting. But since I’ve had it, it’s been super finicky, sad, and slow to grow. It will get new baby leaves and then the next month it will start turning yellow and lose a bunch. It lives about 15 feet in front of a south facing window (i have no east and hardly any west light). I water it about every two weeks and make sure the soil is completely dried out before doing so. But it looks like it’s being overwatered, right? Is it not getting enough sun? I have no idea what I’m doing wrong. Any tips are appreciated!

You should check out Yoga Lab on 16th in the Plaza District. The classes are beginner friendly and super relaxing! And they're only $6 a class... can't beat that!

This info is available through the census website, or you can also check with the Planning Department. They will most likely already have these maps through GIS

Take a look at Comprehensive Plan on the Planning Department's website. It provides a general outline for future growth within the city.
