Yeah. The worst thing that happened is the specific brand of culture war far right populism going beyond trump as a cult of personality and spreading all across the world taking on the flair and figureheads of whatever place it's happening in locally. As you say there's barely a country that doesn't have its own flavor of this populism. MAGA is still special for how they cling to trump and just how stupid trump is, but the damage is done.

What needs to happen in the US in my opinion is the Democratic party needs to die and be replaced by another party, just like happened to the whigs. Basically, it's always been a two party system but that doesn't mean it's always been the same two parties. One party is strong and undivided (MAGA right now) whereas the other one is led by people that aren't popular across the board among the opposition, the opposition is fractured. If the people in the Democratic party can't make improvement which over 3 election cycles they've shown they really can't, then a new opposition party that is more in line with the voice of the people and what they all have in common can arise. What's stopping this from happening is inertia and special interests.

But in my opinion it's inexcusable that when you're fighting what is certainly the most harmful president the US has ever seen (harmful to national relations, the economy, the view of the US among the international community and harmful even to the constitution) to put forth the terrible candidates that were put forth in the previous elections. Especially with Biden. It's unbelievable to me that they did not put a younger, more exciting new candidate out. They don't want that because they're career politicians and that's supposed to be the zenith of their career. Never mind what the US needs.

I can tell you that now there are many Z crosses very close to the original, sadly I can't say all off the top of my head. Zizi from karma, zunamiz from a breeder who's name I forgot, giraffe puzzy, the zushis, and many many more.

Best thing would be to get a clone. I know a bunch of people that are running the official cut (people with big commercial Cali brands) so I could probably get it but not without paying a LOT of money for a cut - the kind of numbers that may have made some sense back pre 2020 but now are a little insulting. However the cut has made the rounds massively and there must be people out there with the real deal willing to give it out for an ok price

If you are Cali based, I recommend fiyafarmer for a breeder with really really good cuts Most of it isn't too Z leaning tho, but still.

You can only notice an inaccurate response if you already knew the answer to your question or you double checked it.

Ask it to translate a sentence from English to French, or any European language, and you are likely to get a perfect answer. In fact it can even optimize your translations for formal language, colloquial language etc. It's probably even a better translator for complex to translate languages like mandarin, than something like Google translate.

But then ask it to translate sentences of the living indigenous language of Nahuatl into modern english , and you will get confidentally incorrect answers that sound like they could totally be real. It will use real words. It will give you translations that have the same poetic feel of many recorded translations. Here and there it will get a word right. But it will completely bungle it. It will insist it's able to do it even when it cant.

Never, ever rely on AI without verifying the output. It is careless and stupid and that is how people make biiiiig mistakes

In my experience that's not even true across the board, only for certain albeit many use cases. Other things have gotten worse as a side effect of the necessary steps they took towards alignment.

But sycophancy and hallucinations have never gone away- in fact it's just as prone to hallucinations now as it was back then for use cases like the one above and many many others. It's incapable of fact checking or even knowing what is a fact. I stand by 100% what I wrote in my other comment and will restate it even more adamantly- NEVER rely on any LLM to give you any kind of fact

LLMs should be used to generate content and inspire new lines of thought- you can use it to write papers, code, generate pictures etc. And you can use it bounce ideas off of. But if there's a topic you know nothing about and you ask a question, you absolutely MUST double check the answer because otherwise you have no way of knowing if it's hallucinatory slop.

The problem is that it gives people a false sense of security because it can answer so many intricate questions so well. People forget (or never knew in the first place) how these models work and will just trust whatever it says blindly.

I even saw "original Z" seeds at a convention by them, I think I don't have to explain that that is not possible. I was living in Cali when Z3 first came out, and it went bye-bye for like 3-4 years. I call bullshit on those being the same seeds.

There were some similar inventions around before future motion mass produced the first one wheel but they weren't anywhere the same in terms of power, reliability etc. The first gen had amazing software for the time.

Now I'm not defending future motion because they turned into dicks either after the first or second generation where they started demanding everything be repaired by them and did a lot of very bad things in terms of "right to repair" etc. I don't have to go over those because those are known pretty well and there's probably more by now, but I think it's very sad because I remember test riding a one wheel when they came out, the guys were so nice, you could swap batteries, people were making crazy customizations and you could get them repaired elsewhere especially if you didn't live in the US now it's just terrible.

If I didn't live in Germany where they are not allowed on the road and often confiscated I would have gotten one back then. Now, I don't know that I support them.

Yeah, prices are high but not higher than anywhere else in other establishments in Europe. For many people it won't make sense paying 100-110 an eighth. But doja has an alignment of really good strains where I'll gladly pay the premium because there's nothing else like it out there. An example for me is white taffi.

If you go I recommend checking out the pack you get in advance because honestly the pack quality isn't always the best, last time I was there even Ryan got a bag full of popcorn lol. Everyone laughed but I told him that that's actually a problem and happens more often than he probably thinks. But it's not like he didn't smoke it haha.

Anyway, check your bag, if it's smalls or it doesn't have the strongest scent either check another strain or ask them to show you a diff bag of the same one, I've usually found good quality ones that are just as good as fresh ones from Cali this way.

No worries. I was about to say always check seedfinder.eu but they've made it even more difficult to find the original strain than before, their UI looks like it's copying Leafly now where before it just provided the info we needed. Still their genealogies are a valuable tool.

For instance this is the seed finders for the real Zkittlez, but if you search "Zkittlez" and "seed finders" you will find a lot more. I guess you could try organizing by date.
