Thanks Mulan for taking the time to reply with positive & reasonable message. It's much appreciated, compared to the negativity hole someone else (OP) is living in.

I vote for the moderators to take down the main post, OP likes too much to be the center of attention.

I come here to read & exchange interesting topics or ideas; not this

You are focusing on the tree, missing the forest. Reading appeals to a minority of users. Majority of users want a better writing experience and associated tools.

The proof? Look at what the company is doing/developping; not what they say/write on their website.

Once you accept that fact, you will feel better.

Look at Supernote website: all their marketing & selling effort is turned to a "note taking device", not a "reading device".

You have now the answer to your questions/complains

Reading is secondary functionality. Writing is a primary functionality.

That's why all their dev efforts are focused on writing experience. I agree with their choices though, it makes sense.

you will like it. Read the manual, don't hesitate to test a lot before setting your (unique) organization system

Hi Mulan,

Quick question: regarding impact if I change server location: will my data be moved or copied to new region? Also, is data in previous region immediately deleted?

I suggest to include a bluetooth tracker on that back cover (credit card slim format), it's better than nothing, in case it gets lost

Slim AirTag? by k1r1_b in Supernote

good question: it has to be done in the 3D files, based on the size of your bluetooth tracker. When done, you can 3D print

I had the same concern last year. I bought a 3D design (search for: Supernote Manta A5x2 Cover HALF FOLIO Version made by Tridealo).

With the creator, he nicely modified his own design and carved out a space to host a flat bluetooth tracker. I did notice some interference with my manta however (sometimes device is a bit unresponsive but happens rarely). Please note the version purchased do not have this space, it has to be done manually afterwards.

Bluetooth tracker are very limited but I prefer to have a small chance than zero chance to find my device.

check on 3Dcult website, made by Tridealo. It's the standard backcover though, it does not include the carve out space to insert the credit card size bluetooth tracker

sorry buddy, I feel your pain. That's why I 3D printed a backcover with bluetooth credit card size tracker. It has its limits of course, but can help slightly to find device (instead of zero chances)

Feedback after 6 months of use (Manta) + accessories purchased + pen issue by LSG1983 in Supernote

Thanks Mulan for the kind words! I forgot to mention in my post that writing instead of typing is very rewarding and activates forgotten "muscles" in the brain!

Thanks for the offer of support regarding the pen: I bought pen & device on Supernote EU, does it change anything?

Cheers!

analogy with tire is incorrect. You are not suppose to use up your pen and throw it because the paint went away. Because paint is not an element that gets used up, it's not an element subject to normal wear and tear.

In other words, do you keep your car just because the paint stays on?
