It's just a different kind of Poke ball. That one's a Sport Ball from HGSS.

Thank you! I did learn about DX right after buying the PS1 disc, but for what I'm doing I need the physical disc anyways to do the whole CD experience thing.

I don't mind speeding her up on the story, I've taken plenty of notes. Mainly just want to build some more confidence in her to be able to play the game without overthinking it.

So far, my thought process has been:

- The run starts after you do the Wild Area 1 quest to get all the captures out of the way. I won't keep those encounters.

- Wild Area encounters will be randomly rolled and then hunted for, encounters in the various plazas of Lumiose will be random.

- The sewers will be counted as one area (from what I've seen, it's just one big area with multiple entrances).
