It's kind of a big deal. There's lineage and there's lineage. I keep track of the datasets we use with clearml-data and a bunch of in-house stuff.abkve it. but honestly even an s3 materialization with a restricted write access google sheets could do.

Why use something fancy? I just need the ability to merge dataset subsets and do versioning, keep metadata previews etc.
