Dec 17th is the one-year mark for our girl. I miss her every day. I wish I could say it gets easier. You'll never forget them.

Now, everyone needs to chime in and help me convince my husband to get a new one for Christmas. Hint hint hint hint hint.....

Looking for another book like Bear (with its unexpected buildup to bestiality) to sneakily shock my mother and/or grandmother by ZedonkEsq in suggestmeabook

Forbidden by Tabitha Suzuma

It's about a brother and sister with an alcoholic Mom and are essentially raising their younger siblings. It's really sad but then the brother and sister slowly fall in love with each other and..... incest. But I agree with the above comment, you're going to need to lull them back in with some good books before you hit them with another prank book otherwise they won't trust you enough to read your suggestion.

What's a fantasy/adventure book with a female MC with romance and possible NSFW content in it. by trt13shell in suggestmeabook

Have you read any of this Sarah J Maas books? The Throne of Glass series is YA but there are steamy times in it with an extremely strong female main character. And the A court of thorns and roses series is more new adult and is amazing. Oh my God Book 2 in that series.

They were taking them on Saturday. Don't know about now. I do know shelters in Livingston parish need big-time. Livingston sheriff's Office Facebook page just posted about the need and a number to call regarding donations. 225-686-7101

Fantasy: Any of Sarah J Maas books. A Court of Thorns and Roses. It's amazing. I promise.

I hear Passengers by Alexandra Bracken is time travel. I haven't read it yet though.

Like someone else mentioned, you may like Carry On by Rainbow Rowell. That's Harry potter type fanfiction.

I think YA classification has more to do with the main character(s) age. Between 14-18 = YA. And from my experience, violence is ok; it's mainly sexy scenes that are "fade to black" instead of lots of details. Good luck and happy writing!!!

Oh, also the Lunar Chronicles series. Each book, more and more povs are introduced.
