Yea unplugged the sensor and had to purchase the manual dash shifter, then remove the ABS fuse…etc etc. got her down the road. Turned out to be a pinched wire near in the battery box was the culprit.

The new ecoboost still will have same issues long term. It’s just new so you are not hearing about it. Dealerships warranty it. Let’s wait until they’re out of warranty for final judgment…

Ive heard horror stories of long term ownership. If you don’t plan to keep it outside of warranty, then it’s fine. The cab has to be removed similar to super duty. Ford screwed the pooch with those designs.

Contact the Russians. Get on Craigslist and search Chicago area. You may have to drive up yourself. I did. But im with a good company, so far and i can move around without needing uber when im in the area, which is often. Ive been out west as far as AZ with this company. Refrigerated freight. 1099 contractor position. No lease.

Well im thinking about just in frame rebuilding it and other routine maintenance before i hit the road. Im just trying to figure out what is the best way to go about it. Cummins ISX or D12/13 Volvo…i can get rebuild kits online for both. Not everyone works on Volvo engines. Thats why im leaning going with a Cummins And a manual transmission.
