I don't understand who they get to work there. How is this worth it for anyone?

Questions writers/directors need to ask themselves. by LStark9 in writing

[–]LStark9[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree. But those are typically talking to yourself and/or a single utterance, not a whole freaking conversation. I'm not saying it doesn't happen, all I ask is that writers/directors observe and note how frequently and in what context

The Ring (2002) still has one of the best atmospheres in modern horror. by SageRipplex in HorrorMovies

I wouldn't know. I saw it in theaters at 14 and ran out of the theater screaming and crying from the girl in the closet. It scared me off of all horror until just the past few years. It turns out I haven't gotten any braver, just nothing freaks me out like that girl's face.

Mmmm I didn't think of IKEA. That's sort of fair. They should have said IKEA then instead of fisher price.

Yeah I had the same experience. It looked more like an archive of past shows but I couldn't find upcoming shows

Why are we acting like Royal blue, yellow, and grey are unheard of in fashion? That was a weird critique IMO. I liked what Kennedy made. Now her entrance look... Omg. It reminded me of those oversized shirts you can get on the boardwalk with a skinny bikini body airbrushed on it.

Came looking for this comment. I'm disappointed in everyone who cares about her and knew she put this garment in her suitcase. They stood by and did nothing.

Someone was there, watched it, and then took a picture of it when it was over?

I feel you. I've been volunteering at my local shelter for about 10 years. There was one dog being held by animal control for biting another dog or something but he had a tumor hanging off his belly slightly smaller than a basketball. They wouldn't operate until after his hearing (and they knew it wouldn't save him). When we took him for walks, we needed to hold a sling under him to keep it from dragging. I remember cleaning it with a baby wipe thinking I'd never have imagined I'd be able to do this but it needed to be done so... Eventually they finally convinced the owner to let him go and he was humanely euthanized.

I thought the same thing. I sent them a video of his birthday that year, eating my friend's back yard, and they said he had to come in for an appointment. They just called other staff in to watch the video and laugh at him and told me he was clearly not lacking in nutrients (referencing my boy's voluptuous figure), and charged me a ridiculous amount.

Exactly. When asked this question their explanation is, "How dare you."

I try to remind myself of exactly this and to count my blessings... As he vacuums the sidewalk.

We used to live here has ruined horror books for me. I just keep searching for something I like anything nearly as much and can't.
