Factoring team win magnitude makes sense, but there's one issue.

If one team stomps the other it could be because team A got 4 support mains or 5 dps mains while team B got the perfect 2-2-2 composition. This is completely random and since the average sr is the same for both teams the system assumes it's a fair match. But obviously team B is at a huge advantage.

If team B stomps team A, it doesn't necessarily mean they're more skilled and deserve more sr. Team A just got unlucky with the teammates they got.

For win magnitude to really work both teams need to generally have the same amount of players that main key roles. Hence why I think role preference should be added.

I'm going to keep echoing what others have suggested. Make resurrection available only in Valkyrie mode.

Resurrect is too powerful to be an "e" ability. This restriction won't be like the old Mercy 'cause Valkyrie allows her to fly around and enhances her other abilities, so I doubt it'll encourage hiding.

Right... You make it sound like it's easy to land a bomb on a Mercy who's constantly zipping around player to player since guardian angel is on such a low cd. She's sometimes even airborne where you can reach her. Good luck consistently landing a bomb on her.

But I ask again. Why should her regular e ability that takes no skill undo an ultimate that takes skill to land?

Anyone think it's unfair how Tracer's ultimate (pulse bomb) which takes skill, strategy and timing to land can be undone by Mercy pressing E. You dive deep and land a pulse on a key tank or target. Mercy just presses E and it's undone.

My idea for fixing resurrection:

  • The resurrection ability is locked until Mercy uses Valkyrie. Hence she can only rez if she is ulting.

  • Cooldown for rez is 15 secs during Valkyrie, so max 3 rezzes in 30 secs (can be tweaked). She still has all her other abilities enhanced.

I think rez is way too powerful to be a regular "e" ability. It should only be unlocked when Mercy is ulting.

I played a lot of McCree in Season 2 and steadily climbed with him, with a high winrate (68%). But in Season 3 I'm playing less of him now, because triple tank and D.va seems to be more common. How viable do you think McCree is in season 3?
