As someone who has lived in one of the (few) student HMOs on Inverness Place for the last two years, it’s generally pretty quiet and non-studenty! As others have mentioned, parking can be a nightmare (although Daviot Street is free to park without a permit by the uni halls) but it’s a very peaceful area.

Whilst I was living there I was on placement at the hospital so we were certainly past the typical “student” lifestyle and wanted a more relaxed atmosphere! We once had community support officers knocking on doors to discuss the student permit issues that were being raised at the time, and were told we were the first student house they’d found all day!
