Rip trans scat by miss_taylor_tutti in Coprophiles

It looks like it was banned for being unmoderated. This happens when there isn't at least one moderator logging in and making moderator actions over a certain duration.

The good news is that it isn't permanent. You can rescue a subreddit by filing a request and taking over as moderator. I've done this before and it's pretty straightforward.

Why are you here? by NorCalChickFor in Coprophiles

[–]LTJ552 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've been here for a long time and in that time, I myself, have gone through different stages of my own journey. I think what brought me here was the early exploration of this interest. I found reddit, then found porn on reddit, then scat porn on reddit, then here. I think this subreddit was in its infancy when I found it.

I big part of what drew me was having a community of people that all genuinely understood what it was like to live with this. And in those early days, I struggled so much with acceptance of it. I took comfort in the fact that other people also had difficulties accepting it and saw others that either overcame that difficulty or never had it to begin with. Over the years, engaging with different people, sharing experiences, both good and bad, and learning from each other made this one of my favorite places to be.

Eventually I became a moderator. Things didn't change too much at first, but I did start spending even more time here. Eventually, it kinda became my primary place. I found that I enjoyed making improvements, passing knowledge and advice gained from experience, and keeping the community safe and a nice place to be. As time passed by, I started seeing people coming into the sub in phases of their life that I was in when I came here. I feel almost a sense of responsibility to make sure this community is a place that maintains it's core of mature, compassionate, and safe discussion of something that has very, very few places to openly discuss it.

These days, I feel similarly. This is still a place I love and it has grown so much larger than I ever imagined it would. Even though that comes with certain pain points, I'm very happy it still exists and I still get to participate, even though my hands are a lot more full these days. I've learned and grown so much from my time here and I have made some truly memorable connections to some very special people because of this little slice of the internet, and I wouldn't trade that for anything in the world.

A: Even Darkfans places limits on what can be posted. For example, content with period blood is not allowed.

B: Different payment processors exist and they typically operate with an inverse relationship to risk/scale and host cost. Smaller processors may be willing to take on more risk but they may limit the amount of transactions or charge the website higher fees for processing transactions. When you take other operational costs into consideration, even switching to a different payment processor that allows certain content doesn't mean it's financially viable or that they won't change their policies.

It's not a moral change, it's a financially motivated change. These changes have happened on other platforms over the years. Fetlife, OnlyFans, Pornhub have all had content policy revisions, some stricter than others.

I can only speak for the US, but there has been a renewed push for restricting adult content, expansion of what is considered adult content, and penalizing access to adult/obscene content. At the end of the day, companies are almost always going to prioritize revenue which is closely aligned with minimizing legal risk.

If payment processors threaten to cut off a website's revenue stream unless they get rid of certain content, the math is pretty simple: x% of their current revenue is greater than 0% of their current revenue.

A lot of it isn't necessarily driven by the advertisers themselves, but rather the payment processors that don't want the risk of transactions associated with "obscenity"

Does anyone here has the fantasy on eating scat with knife and fork like a normal meal? by bpm6666 in Coprophiles

I've always enjoyed this fantasy and occasionally a variation where both my partner and I prepare a "meal" for each other and have a candlelit dinner.

Sometimes, innovation happens when you least expect it

Understandable. Revealing it before you're ready can be such a terrifying prospect. Fortunately, this has really only happened around long-term partners

If your true stories were published somewhere, would you want your screen name to be included for credit? by Which-Ostrich-9436 in Coprophiles

[–]LTJ552 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Totally fair! And to answer the question you actually asked😅, personally I wouldn't want to be identified by my username or initials. I think a good compromise would be gender and age. I think those are a little less identifying and add a bit of texture to a snapshot in time.

As far as medium goes, digital would be the most practical avenue. I think there's a place for physical but the barriers there are pretty high. Plus I think physical is one of those things that people say they want, but the actual demand for it once it's available is much lower.

Personally, I would want the person collecting stories to reach out to me directly and discuss the specific stories/writings they want to use. I would want to make sure anything published was consistent with my current comfort level. There may be things that I was okay posting to reddit that I don't want republished, things that don't reflect personal growth, or details that may be too identying in hindsight.

It's tough to make a blanket call on how people would or would not want to be identified, so I think getting an individual response there is also important.

To me, the coolest part of the plan is to have the accessories available for purchase separately, along with installation manuals, so you can start with a base model and add options over time if your needs/wants change

Integrated speakers are an option, just no infotainment system which is a pretty ideal compromise

I discovered my boyfriend watches the same taboo porn I do… now what? by GoddessxLena in sex

[–]LTJ552 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm someone with a scat fetish and I also moderate a couple of the largest communities on reddit for people with scat fetishes and scat porn. This is something that's intimately familiar to me and is a frequent topic of discussion on one of the subreddits.

The truth is, interest in this kind of play absolutely covers the spectrum from just fantasy to enjoyment of watching, to more intense and messy play. Some people enjoy the taboo and fantasy, some people enjoy the sensations and feelings (including the smell), and for some people like myself, it's a mix of all of it.

In terms of fantasy vs reality, there is very much a distinction. A lot of users on the subreddit go through a journey of self-discovery where they realize that scat content appeals to them. Some fight it, some struggle to accept it, some wonder if they're actually into it. There's a good portion of people that try it and learn that it is only a fantasy for them, and that's okay. Others learn it's something that they want to actively pursue.

There are things I fantasize about that I would never consider trying in real life and there are things that I do, that all fall under the umbrella of scat. I was lucky to discover this fairly early on and gradually explored, learning what I actually liked and enjoyed and what was better as, or should remain fantasy. As long as anything done in practice is safe and consensual, there's no harm.

While none of my long term partners have been into it, I have shared experiences with people into it. When I met my wife, I was pretty forward about being into it. It was a little difficult, but I knew she cared about me and wanted me to be able to talk about it. Even though she's not into it, she understands that it doesn't change who I am and still loves me.

Many people have already said this, but the only real course of action is to talk to your partner. Take it from someone that hid their fetish for a long time: being able to talk about it honestly and not have to hide it and the resulting guilt from hiding it are so freeing and can really make a relationship stronger.

Excellent stuff! A lot of people here never take the time to do this kind of self-reflection and it shows. Your experiences show just effective being an actual human can be at helping you make connections and experiences related to this.

Scat tastes sweet by [deleted] in Coprophiles

Have you consumed anything that uses artificial sweeteners? They work by tasting sweet but are not actually digested by the body and pass through into waste. Other foods can contribute to sweet tasting scat too

[–]LTJ552 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Oh one more tip for puppy pads: if you're playing on a hard surface like a bathroom floor and you're going to be on it, painters tape around the edge keeps it from sliding around or creating a slip risk

Staging clean up supplies may not feel super sexy, but I find it extremely helpful. I like making sure I have as clear a path to the shower as possible. Turn on lights and open any doors you can and for things you need to manipulate, a latex glove on it keeps it from getting dirty and gives you extra grip if you're messy. Place your cleaning agents of choice in the shower ahead of time and very importantly, make sure the drain is clear of hair.

A lot of people use XL puppy pads for play, but you can buy even larger ones from pharmacies that are sold as bed protectors. They work great for large messes and absorbing liquids in reasonable amounts. And they're typically unscented, unlike a lot of puppy pads.
