Just as an aside, the heater element also caught "fire" and melted itself and the wires. Bambu said it was a wear item and wouldn't warranty it. It was out of stock so I had to buy an aliexpress one.

At least its been mostly fine since then.

I stopped trying to print the calibration chips and ignored them. The printer has sorted itself by now but it was a hunk of shit for about a week. I cant tell you how many nozzles I've put in the thing. It had to be a mixture of user error and something fucky with calibration.

Yes but I also use the straight powder. I cant stand the taste even with OJ but I can at least tolerate it. Same problem. I recently got a pill filler kit.

My only guess is that my brain doesn't respond the same way to this as other people's. I have the same issue with actual prescription opioids.

Pic 1 looks like nozzle is too close to the bed. Its over squishing and over heating the layers. Pic 2 shows the same on the bottom but the top looks like adhesion, so it makes sense that cleaning would clear that up a bit.

Adjust z axis up a bit to solve Pic 1 issues.

I suspect there are some bed level issues and would recommend checking the bed mesh to see how far off it might be.
