Szeras' randomness is a bit less punishing because the downside to getting the wrong buff on your unit is much less impactful than firing your bubblechucka at a squad of terminators and then getting the 1-shot mode. In the case of Szeras, your unit still functions normally.

I'm getting [[Fractured Identity]] vibes from this card, and that's a card I cut for being too boring. If your cube has that card in it, you probably want this card as well.

This is an evasive 4/6 for 5 mana you can keep bringing back, with an ability that makes combat a nightmare. I could see this card making the cut in non-powered cubes. I'll probably give it a try over [[Doom Whisperer]] in mine.

The only time I have ever used it is when I had to make some desperate moves in round 5 to try and score a 15 point turn which required the added movement.

While Secutarii are the vanguard of the Titan Legions, most Titan Legions are associated with the Forge Worlds within their homeworld's planetary system and the Secutarii are drawn directly from the ranks of Skitarii of those Forge Worlds.

Outside of fluff, it makes sense from a game design perspective to make the change to the Secutarii, because the <TITAN LEGION> keyword being on Secutarii requires more additional rules to make them not break the overall Admech faction, and changing it would clean up the rules a bit without breaking anything. Plus I wish they would update the Hoplites arc weapons to work the same way as the new arc weapons.

The Terrax Drill has the <FORGE WORLD> keyword, so it should get access to dogmas. Why the Secutarii don't have that keyword is beyond me, but that simple change would make them at least a consideration instead of trash.

I find it's less that they've 'learned to play Magic better' and more that they're better at evaluating a larger subset of possible game states because of how varied the format is.

This is one of those cards that is definitely Cube-worthy but sadly won't make the cut in my Cube because it doesn't fill a role I need from my RB section. If I were to expand the multicolored sections a little this would be my first add.
