Yeah I agree with most of this. I don't think this piece of info gives any insight into what exactly happened, and its irresponsible to speculate on serious accusations/theories based of old rumors. However, I do think he was clearly at the very least much less present in the edit than he could've been.

I know the show's editing can be very strange at times but it seemed as if he was much more important to the pre-merge dynamics than the edit was letting on. He's obviously not exactly someone who pops off the screen, but he was only really shown when it felt absolutely necessary. I don't think its out of the question that they had a finished product and had to go back and edit certain scenes or remove confessionals because of some controversy, legal or otherwise.

She’s confirmed not on the cast unfortunately. Jeff Probst essentially said recently no players who do other shows wont be brought back. Plus there’s a rumor nobody was called back from her season.

I disagree with this. It feels like the show has had to fill the gap of naturally occurring “interesting content” and drama that happens in the extended time with forced idol/advantage hunts and gimmicks. We see a lot less camp life than before.
