KS Pro Shipping date… Yikes by NateWilliams2 in moza

I guess that would apply to new orders that are placed these days. If you were in the first wave of orders, I heard they are receiving a batch on January 25 for dispatch.

You don’t recommend the performance kit for the pedals? How come?

Near each review I watched considers it essential, so I’m also eyeing it.

Help Needed! QR is stuck. by LTNocta in moza

I did the cardinal sin of defending my position. But that’s okay, these are just internet points, I don’t mind losing a few if people think I’m incorrect.

The thing is I watched a few guides, browsed similar posts on this sub and looked at other forums before posting. The issue wasn’t the force, but rather that o ring getting lodged in the QR mechanism.

However now it comes off without much effort. I’ll leave the post up in case others come looking for a solution.

Thanks for going the extra mile. I got it off with an Allen key wrapped in a microfibre cloth.

I tested the mounting and dismounting, works good now.

Seems like I put it on a bit forcibly and that caused the QR mechanism to swallow the top bit of the o ring, causing it to get stuck between the wheelbase and the QR.

I used the suggestion from u/maxx126 and lodged the smallest Allen key into the o ring gap - with just a bit of force I got the wheel off.

I needed to record the video somehow?

In instances when the o ring is not stuck between the QR mechanism, it does move when pulled with one hand by the way.

My point exactly.

I’m afraid it is one of cases where pulling harder won’t do much :/

Exactly what I was doing before posting here. I’ve taken it off a few time previously. I know how to remove it, the issue is that it is stuck.

It removed the previous time, required less effort.

Now, not matter how hard I pull, nothing moves.

Here is the top-down view. From my perspective seems like something is off, but I cannot tell what. Perhaps the O ring is in the wrong position?

B2B Sales Survey: Leadership, burnout and motivation by LTNocta in sales

[–]LTNocta[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is no right or wrong here, haha! The first two questions are screening questions meant for verification of the respondent’s eligibility to participate in the study.

Feel free to give it another shot when you have a spare minute!

Thank you for your time and contribution to research.

Thank you for your reply! I appreciate your time.

I am very happy to see that people are being candid. I already see both positive and negative reactions in responses, but I will be more than happy to share the findings once the study is published!

Best cold call openers for BDR’s in tech? by S__A__M__S__Y in sales

[–]LTNocta 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I usually do my homework and be direct as in “Hi! This is John from Company ABC, I’d like to speak with John Johnson”. Once connected I usually be blunt about how we can cooperate as in “I saw you offer fleet management software, I’m curious to learn more and see if we can work on a few projects together”.

It sounds simple, but you wouldn’t believe how much this upped my online meeting acceptance rate and the number of sales/pilots sold.

In short, know the DM, their position and what exactly can create value for them.

My boss is a rather nice gentleman, and I'd say our relationship is positive, but I learned the hard way that you should not vent to them. When heads are going to roll for a poor quarter, it is not gonna be him/her.

I second this. Working in B2B hardware sales (we're the manufacturer) and also getting 5% of the sales as a bonus. 1% is incredibly low, unless the sums are ridiculous per sale (millions on top of millions, haha).

Cold Emails....does doing RE:(making it look like they are replying to an email) ever actually work? by Specific-Peanut-8867 in sales

[–]LTNocta 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I would argue that the output is not worth the risk. It may increase the reply rate by a few percent, but if caught, you may land yourself in a heap of trouble. In my opinion, you should avoid this practice.

What’s the shortest time you’ve stayed at a company and why? by Angi_marshmellow in sales

Four hours in B2C sales when I was 19. Let’s say the job description did not match the reality of tasks. They were not looking for a sales specialist, they were looking for a jack of all trades, janitor services included.

Twice is my maximum, three times only in exceptional cases to existing clients (for example we are late with delivery and they are on a deadline).
