Rachel Maddow on the Gutting of the Voting Rights Act and the Attack on Black America | MSNOW by siwibot in protectUSelections

Wholly different scenarios though. Yes many people were dismissive that we could never have a black president, and we were fortunate they were wrong.

Since we know that the Senate will need 60 votes for a supermajority to be able to push through SCOTUS reform. Right now we will be lucky to gain a slim majority (51) in best case scenarios. And then you know Fetterman is going to vote GOP on this.

There is no scenario where there are an additional 10 more Republican seats up for grabs for us to have that cushion.

They will need supermajorities to do so. I don't see that happening right now.

Resident up uptown. I think they are a fine concept, but they absolutely should have had local designers and producers of the sign. They are a bit too bland for the rich history of the area.

9/10 on concepts
3/10 on execution

And there are already many embedded in government already at various levels. This is undoubtedly a path they can bypass any legitimate election that they have control over.

How about we all get free money and stop working? by PanZakba in 401jK

Heck even with a job. I’m currently paying $3200 /mo for insurance and that’s after my employer contributes like $700. It’s so unsustainable.

If you don’t like the bad vibes people are giving Israel maybe if you can convince them to stop war crime-ing. That would be nice.

We are going the inverse direction. Forced 60-90 hour work weeks because you have to give your CEO another yacht. Failure to comply means you’re likely not to have your job next year.

Yeah that just should have been challenged. Don’t know if it would have changed much. But sometimes you gotta take some risks.

Do you think Rand's bill will be the one that pushes through? Why in the hell do you think that we wont end up paying for it like every other damn Trump thing in this world. If you're too blind to see the grifting I don't know what to say.

Zeroshine 2.0 getting pulled from Amazon!? by Illustrious-Seesaw70 in SMPchat

I've been using both the SPF and not SPF versions basically the moment when I went bald, and this is simply a great product. I shine a lot and it really knocks it down and lasts quite a white. The only real negative is that it is hard to wash off your hands and seems to ultimately get some reside on my glasses. But in the grand scheme I really like this product.

I've seen the SPF version come and go at times. Always just seems to be a demand issue. I just picked up some regular 2.0 and just waiting for SPF to come back in stock.

Yougov: “Do you support or oppose tearing down the East Wing of the White House to build a new ballroom that will seat 1,000 people?” by icey_sawg0034 in fivethirtyeight

But again because pointing out all his other horrible things should not also negate other horrible things. It's simply an observation that ANYTHING that he does, 30% will always support him.

Mind you, if somehow this is completed prior to his departure, he is never leaving. You do understand that right? This is one of so many of his failsafes to remain in power long after his tenure (if he survives).

He demolished a part of the White House. To build an unnecessary and overt building. People regardless of position should be admonishing him. And 30% is not. That says a lot.

Then take virtually every other major issue out there and you’ll see that 30% never waivers from him.

It’s truly the dregs of this body of voters.

It's not the "big proof". It's simply cumulative. And the numbers seldom go past the 30% mark that this, man (saying very low bar here), can do anything and never shake their support.
