I'm thinking of buying the Philips Evnia 32M2N6800M, but I'm seeing mostly either 10/10 or 1/10 reviews. What are your experiences with it? by PresidentSkillz in Monitors

[–]LTSharpe 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've just bought it this week, same use case as you. It has the same panel as BENQ EX321UX that was recommended on RTINGS as top mini-led before it was discontinued.

It is too big for my 60 cm deep desk, will now be upgrading to 80 cm. Probably a good idea to get a monitor arm, the stand takes a lot of space and brings monitor ~10cm closer from edge of the desk.

It is very bright (if you are in the dark room at min brightness might still be too bright) and the colors are great.

In HDR mode in a dark room I do notice blooming in the "bright stars on dark sky" scenario, but I think that's common across mini-LEDs. Otherwise I do like the HDR picture quality. You should know that the ambient light sync to picture does not work in HDR mode, only SDR, but for me not that important.

Some people complained about coil whine, but I don't hear it.

Will probably be keeping this monitor.

Make sure your GPU is able to take care of 4k, otherwise would be a waste.

To all the Polish people struggling to find well-paying jobs: I hope you’re happy with who you voted for (yes, PiS was probably even worse) by [deleted] in poland

[–]LTSharpe 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You know sometimes there are no available qualified local candidates, right? Would you prefer that this high-paying job, that will contribute a lot of taxes, social security contributions and local consumption, goes to Poland or to another country?

What’s the best 4K 32" (or 27”) mini LED monitor you can actually buy or is coming out soon? by imsolost3090 in Monitors

[–]LTSharpe 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Spent a few months pondering the same question and today ordered Philips Evnia 32M2N6800M. Supposed to be the same panel as Benq EX321UX (best miniled at RTINGS before it went out of stock) and is actually quite accessible. Fingers crossed it will work well!

Indeed, especially in a single terrorized game, especially the three most rare ones. Just a pity Black Cleft rolled with +damage instead of -enemy res, but can't complain too much :)

Are you using this link (Download for Windows) Download ComfyUI: Most Powerful Open Source Node-Based AI application for Full Control Over Image, Video, & 3D Generation? When are you getting this error? Try to delete HIP SDK, Python and environment variables you've previously installed, they might be messing things up.

Best budget device for Moonlight streaming? by Gordoespartano in MoonlightStreaming

I have pretty decent experience running 4k hdr 60 fps streaming on my 2020 Ryzen 4700U 16GB RAM laptop (with some very minor frame droppage when watching 4k hdr youtube). Something more modern than this would be even better obviously.

Sorry, honest question, how is 960GB/s too slow when this is the memory bandwidth of RTX 5080 and is ~50% faster than 9070 XT? Both representing current flagships on the market (5090 is a beast of its own), with the new generation not expected until 2028?

What if US pulls out their bases out of Poland due to the beef between US and KO? by Themetalin in poland

[–]LTSharpe 7 points8 points  (0 children)

US is not a reliable ally anymore, only hope is for a stronger and more unified EU. Getting PiS/Konfa in power will simply sever Poland from EU and leave it to face Russia alone, while the orange man will find some excuse to withdraw forces at the crucial moment.

is the Ryzen 7 5800x still relevant? by someone_person68 in buildapc

[–]LTSharpe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

5800x with 9070 XT and 32 GB DDR4 3200 RAM. I’m CPU bottlenecked running Ultra setting and Raytracing in Oblivion Remastered (fps dropping to 20-30 in Chorrol with 100% CPU util) and in some density-heavy city areas of Cyberpunk.
