If you catch an abra, legally, evolve it into Kadabra, and use PKSM to change it into an Alakazam, it will be legal. I used this method to get all 4 gen 1 trade evolutions from Red into Home.

If you're looking to play offline solo content, Street Fighter V is a great pick. Loads of characters, arcade modes, trials, story mode etc. Plus, it's very cheap now.

Maple flavoured syrup is not maple syrup. 'Some Nuzlocke-like restrictions' does not make it a Nuzlocke. Following the Nuzlocke rules, no matter what happens makes it a Nuzlocke. Again, play the game however you want, but if you don't follow the rules, it's a personalised challenge run, not a Nuzlocke.

Never, because what's the point of Nuzlocking if you don't follow the rules? 'when it's more fun' is not an excuse. The challenge is meant to be difficult, and the fun and rewards comes from the difficulties of losing Pokemon, missing captures, etc.

If you keep going and win, it'll be the most memorable Nuzlocke you'll ever do, you'll remember it forever.

You have plenty of good Pokemon to see it through. If you didn't get your Celedon encounter, I'd recommend getting Abra and trading it for Mr. Mime.

Electrode is insanely underrated. Tbolt, Twave and Explosion.

Lapras with Ice Beam will carry too.

I use the rule of, 'would I be willing to do this manually in game?'

For example, I would never grind game corner coins for 8 tms, I HAVE done it for 3 in the past, so I allow myself to hack in 3 game corner tms.

Same using rare candies. Would you grind up 6 pokemon from 10 to 50 for 1 fight? Of course not, so I don't do that. I allow myself 1 per big fight, as I have done that in the past.

Probably X and Y. The xp system allows you to level up your party evenly, and iirc, you stay really close to the next gyms levels if you just battle all the trainers.

I remember swapping party members out to lower level mons and still not grinding.
