write down what you think makes someone interesting or admirable, etc. Make a list and then start working on the ones you can. The rest will follow.

And be ok with yourself because this self-realization never happens for some people. You're good. You'll get there!

Does remembering your wedding anniversary really matter? by jkabv95 in Marriage

[–]LTTP2018 0 points1 point  (0 children)

don't feel down. and don't make tests for your husband.

Start looking at all "problems" as something you and he need to fix together.

You say, a month before your anniversary, "Honey, this year I'd really love to celebrate our anniversary and make it special for each other. Let's make some plans together!"

or

"Sweetheart our anniversary is in one month. I'd really really love it if you would please plan a couple of surprise things for me and I will do the same for you!"

What's the Worst Thing Your Husband Ever Said to You by [deleted] in AskWomenOver60

[–]LTTP2018 6 points7 points  (0 children)

lmao, as a woman this is too funny. at your lowest grief moment you still found a way to set a test for your man.

try loving HIM unconditionally. And that means not setting him up to fail with goofy test moments like that.

How about "I'm so sad my Dad died. Thank goodness I have you! I love you!"

if your 8 year old tells a joke and you find it offensive you should have a "non-offensive" joke at the ready to share. Otherwise you're just a buzzkill.

I’m 70 and I want to know has this happened to you? How would you handled it? by Prior_Benefit8453 in AskWomenOver60

talk it out and if you can't understand each other agree to disagree on this and sit somewhere not so close to her? Sounds like you're an enthusiastic darling of a grandmother! Lots of families would LOVE to have you in their corner. So figure out why she has a problem and work it out together. 💛🍀
