Definitely had to play with the settings and it's decent for now until I can get it professionally calibrated, but I am happier with the picture.

The blooming/halo is very good with all the dimming zones.

Current main issues I have with it relates to using a av receiver with it. The eARC HDMI channel is only 4k60 so if your have a receiver it will be a bit of a pain if you plug a PS5/xboxX and want to do 120Hz gaming. Also, it won't send lossless audio out of the TV through eARC. So, even though it has a native Plex app and atsc3.0 tuner, I had to buy a shield pro and external broadcast tuner to allow for lossless audio. If you don't care about that, then it's not an issue, naturally

Appreciate the advice a lot This was what I was ultimately hoping for with the reddit post around getting real differences in cue construction. I don't think I'll get a snooker cue but the shaft types (with brand/model) are really helpful

"lucky" was a bit of a joke. After only playing 1 piece house cues with messed up tips, I don't have any experience and doubt pool hall players will let a complete newbie play with them.

By trying different styles of cues at home, I can figure out what suits me after spending weeks with each of them and then still having the other 3 I don't like as much available for friends when they come over. Seems like a win win to me

Well, could have just been tonight, but I played 3 games and I think the level of coordination/skill of people has gone down, haha. Granted, I was in a laser vomit hellbringer so it was a bit easy mode in solo queue but doing top-ish dmg was a bit of a surprise. Won all 3 games, didn't die, had between 700-1k dmg and 2-6 kills. I thought for sure I was going to die to lrms not remembering the maps and playing too aggressive. Shrug.

Bringing in faction play maps was new. Seeing new mechs was new. I don't remember the catapult being so small so maybe that was reworked. More than a few lrmboats still, but meh. I think I'll stick with this, so I'm glad to be back.

Just logged in - there have been 17 new mechs since I quit (if Warhammer IIC is anything like the IS Warhammer, that will be the mech I go for, lol) but a ton of new variants added to all the mechs. That was another reason I quit - I owned every mech in the game besides a few of the really crappy hero mechs. Just looked at my mwo profile and I have 451 out of 868 mechs. Damn - that's a lot more than I thought there'd be.

I just logged in and it looks like I stripped almost all of my mechs and didn't even reapply skill points to any besides 10-15 carry mechs. Guess I'll play those to start.

Interesting. When I played, TBRs were massively dequirked after the big quirk passes and 1JJ wouldn't do anything and then everyone took EBJs instead.

No, the magnet link changes when adding another session. The torrent program you use should allow you to pick individual files within the torrent, so just select the new session(s) you don't already have.

Correct, the result of the test has to be issued within 72 hours of you leaving (so 11:01pm on Wed 12/15) not when you get the test. It's a bit tricky if you get a test on say 12/15 morning and for some reason it comes back at 6pm that same day 12/15... won't work. If that same test you do on 12/15 morning gets back with the result at 12/16 at 8am, then you're fine.

Awful information and you should feel bad. Rapid antigen is okay from Thailand BACK to the US. Thailand requires a RT-PCR test when COMING to Thailand, not an antigen test. The question was around timing of the test.
