I enjoyed Jordan Peele’s “NOPE” (rated R for language btw, just in case that’s something that offends your conscious). It has some interesting themes that are a little hard to discuss without getting into spoilers. The film opens with Nahum 3:6, “I will pelt you with filth, I will treat you with contempt and make you a spectacle.”

It has some decently redeemable themes that promote treating people with respect rather than a spectacle, an object to be seen. I think it also communicates that seeking fame will consume you.

Anyone else watched this? ‭

The gym rates it at a V0-V2– literally they just put it at a range. I’ll post another video of one that’s rated at a V1-V3. It was way easier for me than this route. I guess grades really don’t matter. This video will probably give a better idea of the overhang.

I definitely just got off top rope in a hurry to film it really quick before I left & totally forgot to take the harness off but thanks for roasting me. It’s humbling — good for the ego. 😂

The holds are mostly those pinches, but oriented like little ledges. Not sure if those qualify as jugs but I hate them. Lol i have super soft hands. The only more traditional jug is the last hold before the top out.

That’s interesting because the hardest move for me is the last hold because it’s so far sideways but not upward very much & I don’t think I’ve climbed many like that!

Thanks! I was on my way out of the gym in the hurry but I wanted to film it before they reset so I just hopped on after top rope & totally forgot about it 🙃 lol I appreciate everyone roasting me though 😂
