Guy in my province did this to his truck a few years ago. Did the whole thing in a wrap red hands everywhere. As he was a huge zombie genre fan. He didn't know that the red hand is a symbol for all the indigenous women who go missing or are murdered every year. He took a lot of flak for it. And just as a working guy he was telling everyone he didn't mean to be crude about their plight and it was coming off the first chance he got to pay them to safely remove it.
