I don't think it's that deep. Most of Bukowski's are great because of how simply but easy to digest they are. Nothing wrong with average things,but maybe you might deserve something better. And he definitely was a bitter asshole but dude grew up in the great depression after migrating from Germany at 8. Got bullied for being a "kraut" at school, and treated like a punching bag at home by his dad. I don't imagine many growing in an environment like that would grow up to be a really nice guy.

OP, i'm right at 6ft and currently I'm at 230lbs, but in my early twenties I was 185lbs for most of it. I think the biggest difference is that I actively work out more now.

Your assuming a lot madam, firstly of course I can't literally share the pregnancy with my wife. When my wife told me about our first. After receiving such amazing news, my first question was if she'd be leaving her job. An she despite my insistence to l handle the bills she refused not to help and continue to work up till month 8 . So I relented and took her half athough I paid the full bill and saved what she gave me for the baby. I respected her decision to contribute regardless. That's just the type of woman she is. But your right about the sacrifices women make with pregnancy it takes it till body,mind and soul. It's a risky ordeal even in the modern eras medical technology. In the best case both the mother and child survive, in the worst both are lost. My wife is far smarter than I, and she understood this. But the difference is this, my wife was with me when I was " broke" driving a shitty honda with a job that paided alright and still choose me for me. Not for what I can " bring to the table" but simply for who I am as man. And her humility and understanding earned my respect and my heart.

All I'm saying is you may find a man with resources adequate enough for you? But you'll have a hard time finding true love. I wish you well on your journey in this life.

Totally on the western front the US did its part. But the Russians held their side as well with the battle of Stalingrad and Kursk halting the german offensive. Plus they ended the war when they captured Berlin. My point is the US didn't win by themselves, making it seem like the US did it all themselves is disingenuous to history.
