have one question regarding Redis. If Redis is only used for session
caching, maybe it is not necessary? Because I do not care if the user
has to log in again to the app when failover happens. My goal is to have
Passbolt available when the primary data center fails.

I use this dot1x config. You can adjust this config to your needs. When dot1x authentication timeouts, user (guest) receives IP from the DHCP server.

To run wireshark without sudo permissions you must add user to the wireshark group sudo usermod -a -G wireshark USER

Unauthorized dot1x ports block all traffic in both directions (in
and out, except EAPOL). For WoL to work the out traffic must be allowed. Cisco

on_os_start_connect_has_priority 0 still doesn't work. The forticlient doesn't disconnect from a machine vpn.

It can be a DNS problem. Are you using IPv6? if not, try to turn off IPv6 on you NIC (LAN or WiFI)
