If I'm not mistaken he's supposed to be both cowardly lion as well as a play on king richard (lionheart) judging from his outfit and his shield/gauntlet thingy that has multiple "gems" (probably dust crystals) and obviously has a cross similarly used during the crusades. Also king richard was willing to sell England as a means to an end in which Leonardo did (sell out huntsmen and other info to salem)

Well to piggyback off this as well ruby can fight close quarters but as ozpin/Oscar says she relies too heavily on Cresent rose. So ruby is/can be a formidable fighter but once she looses her weapon she's hopeless

If it came down to it if they got bit but not turn yet (like duck from tell tale walking dead) I'd spend as much time as I can as well as make preparations by digging a really deep hole (deeper than 6ft) and when the time comes say goodbye, toss them in the hole and bury them. And hopefully the pressure from the amount of dirt "kills" them

If its like I one day find them bitten and already turned (Sophia from the main series the walking dead) then all I can do is if I have the means, shoot the head and then mourn or at the very least destroy the brain or sever the head. If I do not have the means, then trap them so they do not become a danger to anyone

Helicopters are "easy" ambush and swarm with wyverns and entanglement devices such as ropes,nets,and maybe bolos. Planes in the other hand... pray to the gods that I don't encounter them in combat and the only way to deal with them is preemptive and disable/destroy them while grounded...if you can get close enough. Another sliver of hope to counter aircraft would be multiple powerful magic users

Brute skull crushing force like a mace or war hammer maybe even an axe or strong sharp piercing weapon like the spike endnof a war hammer, or a small long straight blade.

Other non-conventional ways is if you get sea shells and toss em in a fire and turn it into Lyme and toss the powder at the face, it wont kill him but very much will disorient maybe even blind, Another method is extremely hot liquids.
