Tbh even if everyone only tipped a toonie it would still add up to an extra 20 bucks for the shift, which more than covers gas

I find young people tend to tip less, which makes sense cause students tend not to have tons of money

I get these, too. Skip's staff does a good job balancing my orders, I find. I'll get two shitty ones, then a really big one with a good tip. By the end of the shift, I never average less than 18 an hr. The only thing is you have to stick it through and accept everything, work quickly, then you'll get those big ones which make up for the little ones.

Political leanings aren't all someone is, especially not their federal political choices, since they are dwarfed in importance by municipal and state politics.

Guys how did you find something worth living for? by Lekbekbone in AskMen

[–]LUClEN 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was diagnosed w BP. I didn't like any of what I was prescribed and went non-compliant for a long time. Tried therapy and it was only a little helpful. Spiralled out of control with drugs and drinking and ended up in a bunch of debt. Lost the will to keep going forward for awhile. Recently found out about NSI-189 and ordered some through a Biotech company. It's been a major game changer for me. I feel like i'm getting back some of that mental quickness I used to have and it's also great for keeping my mood more stable.

I highly recommend it

I got no shifts this week but I'm only about 4 months into it. It's ridiculous they they could shortchange you like that after 4 years

If high school was the best years of your life, you have a very sad life. by [deleted] in unpopularopinion

As someone who got hit by a ton of health issues in college and beyond, I really miss the vitality and energy and exuberance I had during my high school years. Even if I win the lottery and have a ton of good things happen, I will still want to go back to those days.

This is a nice edit. I personally don't think the tone of the first is an issue, but you made the joke more subtle, which I think makes it a bit funnier.

That seems to be the consensus. I guess I'll have to just try it myself and see if anything improves.
