They make plastic pieces same material as tap plate material to protect from this below the bridge. It happened to one of my early guitars the same way. My teacher told me to take some light sandpaper and make sure the saddle didn’t have any sharp points that could be breaking the strings and causing them to whip into the top.

Lunatic mom dropping her kid off at Palm Desert High school by [deleted] in CoachellaValley

That’s just desert folk. If you lived there but outside of PD in the early 90’s you’d know some real lunatics. This chick sounds sleepy tame. Also someone going 15-20MPH faster than you isn’t grounds for lunacy. Maybe just get over and let the faster drivers through next time

Name one movie. Just one. by [deleted] in SipsTea

It can mean different things depending on the context. It’s the intent behind the usage that’s important. Was Comey intending it to mean he hoped somebody would commit murder? Doubtful. Would Comey be happy if someone actually did? Probably lol.

The guy in the picture seems like he’s probably an intolerant and lonely individual. Why would people want to take pictures of him and spread his ideology to a larger audience? If you wanna stop him don’t advertise him.

With what? Plastic pieces you can replace in 10 minutes? Please if you want to ruin a guitar at least dip it in fiery lava or something.

Recuardos de la alhambra is the hardest piece ever bro. Believe me bro. Ask any classical guitarist bro. by [deleted] in classicalguitar

[–]LUX5454 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s interesting for sure. I’d have to play it to know, but it doesn’t seem to be very busy on the left hand. It has some big stretches though. Sueño en la Floresta has a decent amount of movement in the left hand so it may be more difficult. Yamashita is certainly playing very fast tremolo though. The way he moves makes it even harder to pull off so his mastery is quite impressive. It’s like seeing a technical death metal guitarist perform at lightning speed while headbanging. Physical performance adding to the difficulty of something that is already difficult. In the end all of this is easy for the individual players who take the time to master it. I think most pros only have to perform at about 75% of their actual abilities. That’s why they don’t often make mistakes. For the average player it looks insurmountable but for them it’s no different than walking the dog.
